Happy April Fools! We are celebrating by letting you make every one and every thing sparkle.
You will randomly find glitter bombs while browsing the site today. Visit your friends' profiles to prank them by throwing glitter at them. They will have a VERY sparkly time until all that glitter wears off.
On average, you should find one glitter bomb roughly every half hour.If you simply cannot wait to find more glitter bombs, you can grab them in packs of five in the store.

After it activates, it lasts for about 15 minutes.
If someone isn't online when they get glitterbombed, does it 'wait' or does it expire before they see it?

Oh! I fixed it so that if you put them in your display case they won't make the throw button appear.
Is there a way to disable the Throw button? I love all of the glitter bombs I collected as of yesterday.

We've never repeated the same April Fools prank, but we may have to now... This was too much fun! 
This was a fantastic April Fool's Day idea. I loved it. So much fun. So positive yet still in the spirit of the day. It was a real pick me up in these long quarantined days. I hope this becomes a yearly thing. I will 100% look forward to it next year.
I love this so much, it's made me feel so much better. People I didn't think even noticed me or know who I am have glitter bombed me, people who I hadn't connected with in a while glitter bombed me and it was an in to connect with them again. All in all just feels so good and wholesome. 
Normally I feel a bit nervous about April Fools, because I've seen such mean jokes played out there in the wider world -- but the constant stream of sparkle here today kept me smiling.
(Funny bit of trivia: the sparkle animation is the one from the Doubutt game, it's the magic effect when you approach a healing fountain)

Do these last until after April Fool's Day or will they disappear like special-event items on some games do?

Oh hey! I dig that there's even sparkles "behind" avatars (for users and characters) that won't be seen unless part of the avatar is transparent. Glitter EVERYWHERE.
