Operation Audacious Phoenix: Beta is Imminent

This is it - the very last of our 100 day timeline for Operation Audacious Phoenix.

How did we do?

Given how totally audacious and even possibly ridiculous this timeline was, amazingly well!

There are a few things still pending - notifications, live chats, and image uploads the most prominent among them - but day 1 of beta will include nearly every feature the site currently has plus several hundred new ones.

How do I participate in Beta?

I am currently setting up a server partition on which all our OAP backers can start to beta test. In the next 24 hours or so, I will be announcing details of how to participate in that beta to OAP backers on this forum: https://www.rprepository.com/g/audaciousphoenix/forum/Backer_Forum

If you are a backer and you can't see that forum, please join the Operation Audacious Phoenix group so I can add you to the list of people with access.

Reminder: A "backer" in this context is someone who financially supported Operation Audacious Phoenix by purchasing something in the bake sale.

WHEN DO WE GET THE THING?

My hope is that I will be able to finish the missing features, and polish things up enough through beta testing that we can officially launch 2.0 in December.

How am I (Kim) doing?

I am the IRL equivalent of a Skyrim character in the middle of an intense battle with 2 stamina left and an inventory full of venison stew.

Which is to say, I am pounding ridiculous snacks and discovering myself waking up from multiple Unscheduled Naps to try and carry this thing over the finish line strong.
