From the Greek word meaning "glory," a kudos is acclaim for exceptional achievement or qualities.
On the RP repository, receiving a kudos means that another community member recommends you as someone other people might like to get to know. Perhaps because you are exceptionally fun to RP with, exceptionally fun to know, or are just plain exceptional!

I have not yet had the pleasure of RPing with Dawnia but I know many who have and have seen the effort she puts not only into forum posts during events but also the Community itself. I look forward to the day we do finally get a moment to RP together but until then I want to sing her praises as someone who not only cares deeply about her characters but also about the people on RPR. To me, Nina is like the starring character of a movie or show or series in general. I always saw her as number one. Especially when she host gatherings. Beautiful character inside and out. Dawnia is as good as it gets. If you do her wrong, that’s shame on you! She has such a descriptive sense of direction, and she slid my character into her own’s back story so gracefully. She’s had to have written books before! I hope she gets more partners, because they will be role playing with a seasoned rp veteran. She knows what she’s doing! Had the chance to write with Daniel and Nina, and I haven't yet given Daniel a kudo for the epic storyline we all wrote! A fun character who is quite overshadowed by his dynamic wife! It's good to see he is becoming more than an NPC/secondary character and developing his own personality. If you wan to roleplay with a middle-aged nice guy (is he really though?) Daniel Phelps is a good choice!

Came across Dawnia last year when a couple of our characters started a roleplay. That roleplay is still going albeit at a slow pace. Joined her Modern World group and helped her get it through the initial growing pains, and have only good things to say about her! Love her characters and need to give them their own kudos.
