Since Aki's estate was in a realm of it's own, he had set up a booth of sorts at the edge of town for any who strayed just a little too far off the beaten path. He was there for the more adventurous of the festive youth. The demon king had with him two large sacks of assorted candy, as well as treats that he'd gone as far as to hand bake himself sitting on the table in front of him. The booth itself was black and wooden, with a simple sign reading Happy Halloween in lovely bright orange handwriting. Akio was dressed as a pirate, complete with his very own black hat. Oddly enough, he wore that look well, despite not having the rough exterior one might expect. While he waited, he hummed gently, perhaps loud enough to be heard by anyone passing through that area.

(This is open to medieval or modern characters. I can adapt to either. I tried to make sure that anyone who wanted could join by keeping the setting simple enough. Also...)

There was only a moment. Calisto had anticipated this moment, though it was as strange as he was told it was going to be. The crossing of dimensions was a new experience right now, and not one that was his last, oh no. He had to return eventually.

When Calisto arrived wherever it was he was sent, one of the first things he attempted to do was stretch his wings. However, the stretching sensation did not come. When he looked, the faerie seemed to furrow his brow in contempt. Of all the things that would happen when he crossed dimensions, his wings would go.

That was not the only thing, however. When Calisto attempting using any of his power, they would not come. If he tried to float, he could not. If he tried to shrink himself, he would stay his normal height.

Sighing gently to himself, Calisto simply figured that it was a restriction of wherever it was he ended up... that, or it was a trick of the spellcaster that sent him here. Whether it was to protect him, or give him no special ability in an unknown location, Calisto would remain in the dark for now.

In the meantime, the faerie man adjusted his suit and tie, making sure they were not wrinkled or folded in any one place that made his appearance shabby. He then ran a hand through his mohawk and walked forth. He would continue on this venture till he came across a booth. There were sacks of varying wrapped goods, and Calisto took pause.

There was a sign, but Calisto could only recount what Human writings there were. He believed that 'Halloween' was a very old Human tradition where he hailed from. But that was only a guess.

Looking to the pirate, Calisto then spoke: "hello there. Can you perchance inform me of where I am and what this entails?"

Calisto pointed to the sign, then looked to the pirate questioningly.

Aki's humming trailed off as he noticed he wasn't alone anymore. Those chocolate orbs raised and took in the traveler before he spoke up.

"Hello. I uh.." he glanced around at the town he wasn't even sure of himself, due to the fact that he didn't come from it either, "I'm not sure where you are, because I'm also not from around here." Obviously, because his voice was heavy with an outlandish accent. "However, this booth here is in celebration of a holiday; Halloween, or All Hallows' Eve, whichever is preferred. Apparently the tradition goes that you hand out candy and treats." He motioned to his little booth and smiled warmly, "If you enjoy sweets, feel free to take a few handfuls. You're the first person that's even come out this far. I'm sure there are people in town handing it out also. Perhaps they could give you a better standpoint on where exactly this is."

Real professional Akio, but he himself had come through a portal from his demon realm to this place just for candy giving. He didn't think to take note of what it was called, as he didn't assume it mattered.

"Oh, I see..." Calisto said. He did not sound disappointed, only understanding. "Well, thank you for your time anyways. I suppose we are both strangers to this land."

While the faerie had an odd way of talking -- perchance too formal of a way of speaking -- he remained rather neutral and level headed about a lot of the stuff that was going on around him. Calisto put heavy consideration into heading into the town that Akio mentioned, but he also looked to the candies that were set out.

Calisto had been given a rather generous invitation to them. Was he willing, though? It was rare that Calisto would really act upon such requests. However, the sign and the fact that there were apparently some festivities going on that centred around it, he reached out and took a handful.

"I thank you for the confectionery items, friend. I wish I could stay a while longer, but I am afraid I am on a time limit," Calisto said to the man, giving a very formal bow. "I wish you well this eve, and may you give lots of candy this 'Hal-ow-een'."

The pronunciation that Calisto gave it was definitely stressed and comical, though he paid it no mind. Instead, he rose from his bowed state and headed in the direction for the town that Akio mentioned.

He gave the male a nod when thanked for his time, "No problem at all, and yes, it appears so." He hadn't said anything while Calisto was debating on whether or not to take the candy, patiently waiting like the noble he was. His own way of speaking was incredibly formal also at one point, but had been chiseled down a bit until just recently due to the company he'd kept.

"You're very welcome traveler," he grinned warmly, offering a light bow of his head in return since he was sitting down. It'd be too tiresome to stand and bow. Besides that, the demon king didn't bow to very many people.. This one he respected enough to do so. He didn't know him well, but it was just that air about him that Akio picked up. "Don't worry about it," he smiled in understanding, "You as well. Be safe." He held back a chuckle at the way he'd said Halloween, not wanting to offend by laughing. Instead, a playful glint flickered in his eyes for only a fleeting moment before it was gone.

Aki gave a casual wave when his guest went on his way, picking up one of the cookies he'd baked after he was out of sight and nommed it quietly.

She was doing what any other person her age was doing on a night like this, out shoving her plastic pumpkin into people's faces, demanding candy! Skye skippy skipped on her merry little way through the town that, unknowingly to HER, her father had set up shop at. Getting close enough to the edge of town, she sensed him. His powerful aura was unmistakable! Skye's eyes widened and she took off at a jog first before turning into a flat out run, weaving around anybody in her way whilst making sure her candy didn't spill out. "DADDY!" she squealed the second she saw him sitting there with all those goodies, and as a pirate? He dressed up?! Oh happy day! She had already flailed her way over aiming to hug him tightly, spilling some of her candy onto the table clumsily. She was dressed as a black cat, with those big floofy ears and tail. She'd even painted on a nose and whiskers and had cute little cat paw gloves on her dainty little hands.

"Hi Daddy," she said sweetly, a little more calm, "I missed you. Are you taking care of yourself Mister?" Dawe. Her face scrunched up all serious at him, as if scolding. "Oh and TRICK OR TREAT!" she squealed, bouncing up and down in her outfit. Skye had the body of a 16-18 year old but the mind of a 4-5 year old.

He was standing by the time she got there, strong arms embracing his daughter in return, "Hello Skylar. I've missed you too." He chuckled, nodding to her spilled candy, "You're spilling your pumpkin." Had she let go, he motioned to the bags and table, "Grab whatever you want Sweetheart."

She stared at father and daughter from the tree she standing. she doing what she usually does every night walking. but on Halloween she walked very shyly cause she thought someone would call her out so she walked and stopped in the dark when she sall someone. she smiled when she sall how close the daughter and father were but then felt sad cause she missed her dad her and her parents were never has close as they were but she wished they were.

she held her hands behind her back and waited. she wanted to tell the man that she liked his costume and and his booth.

Skye is super sorry it took this long to post back! Ahem! She grinned happily at him upon the returned hug, letting him out of her death grip and squealing over her spilled goodies. "Oopsie daisy!" she cackled, stuffing them back in, "For real?" Her face lit up like Christmas lights and she shoved a few handfuls into her overstuffed pumpkin.

"I hate to run off Daddy, but Donnie is probably looking for me by now. He was my escort," she smiled, "Bye, love yoooou!" And she skippy skipped away after snagging one last cookie and shoving it in her mouth. She hadn't seen the other girl or she'd have waved at her hyperly. Skylar was far too energetic for her own good!

Aki shook his head, an amused expression on his face at his silly daughter's antics. "Goof," he laughed as she stuffed her poor pumpkin to the brim. "I swear you better not eat all that at once," he said with a hint of firmness to that gentle voice of his. Dad mode came out.

"Alright, be safe. Tell Donnie I said hi," he laughed. Poor kid. No doubt Skye was running him to death. "Love you too dove," he smiled warmly as she went on her way. "I know you're over there," he chuckled softly towards the area the other girl was hiding so shyly, "Why not come out and introduce yourself?" He would wait a few moments to see if she responded but he could definitely sense someone's presence.

Andras didn't really know where he was, which wasn't really unusual. Exploring new places could be interesting, although it would be nice if he could find someone who could tell him where he'd ended up and maybe something about the place. He'd begun wandering without any particular direction in mind when he sensed some sort of power. Some sort of powerful being was in the vicinity, it "felt" like possibly a demon of some sort, and the fallen angel began heading in that direction out of curiosity.

As he got closer, he could smell some sort of baked goods, and decided his curiosity had payed off if he could get his hands on some. He decided to fly over instead, even though it was a short distance, but he wanted to get there more quickly now. Spreading his wings, the fallen angel took to the air quickly, flying for only a few minutes before he reached his destination, and dropped down beside the booth, his senses allowing him to avoid hitting it despite his blindness.

He could sense there was someone else here--a human, as far as he could tell--but didn't really care if he was seen flying.
"Hey there, don't suppose one of you could tell me where I am?" He addressed both with a friendly grin.

She came out very shyly and looked around and walked slowly towards the other person.

''h-hi'' she said as she smiled shyly. ''I'm Sky'' she held her hands behind back and stood there right in front of the man and waited for a responese.

He glanced up when the man arrived so gracefully, a smile on his face in admiration of those wings. "Heya," he said warmly, "I have no idea where we are to be honest. I just randomly picked a spot to hand out treats. Sorry I'm not much help." He rubbed the back of his neck, smiling again as he looked to Sky now, "I'm Akio. It's a pleasure." He offered his free hand to shake hers politely if taken. Otherwise he'd move it back to his side after a moment.

She shook his hand shyly and smiled ''its a pleasure to meet you too'' she said her voice a little quite. she looked around not know what else to do.

Realizing the girl seemed incredibly shy, he decided to speak up warmly, "Do you like sweets? I have all kinds to give out. I also have hand baked cookies, brownies, and cupcakes." He motioned to his little booth lightly. He also gave his other guest a smile, "You're welcome to take as many as you like also."

She hesitated a moment but the smelt the warm smell of the brownies and polity asked for one.

''May i have a brownie please?'' she asked finally warming up to Akio.

He nodded in response, moving to the side a bit to grant her access to the booth. "Pick whichever you want," he smiled, "Some have frosting and others don't." He had still been standing since he'd not sat down yet after hugging his daughter earlier. He also offered her a napkin to wrap it in if she didn't want to hold it in just her hands.

Andras listened to the exchange, his grin widening at the prospect of free food. It was tempting to butt in--he'd never been one to bother much with politeness--but found himself holding back for the girl's sake. It figured she had to be adorable and appeal to his protective side.

That feeling was shoved aside easily as he leaned casually against the booth. "Well, if you're just giving those away, then I'm in the right place after all! I'll figure it out eventually, anyway."

"So what about you, then?" he asked, turning towards the girl's direction. "Are you from around here? You can talk to me, I promise I won't bite. Unless you want that..."

The Android was walking along, listening to music and minding his own business, that is, until he saw this booth"Hmmmm....Hell, I could go for some candy" he walked over, pulling out a medium sized skull shaped bucket

Frankie was also passing through the area, dressed in her little Mad Hatter outfit. She spotted the booth and all the others and decided that guy must be giving out the good stuff! She started in that direction, squealing loudly as her heel caught on a stray rock. She stumbled a little, face flushing from that outburst of hers, but she managed to regain herself. Frankie headed on over, more carefully, holding out her bag to the pirate, "Trick or Treat!" She smiled brightly at everyone else, "We having a private party over here guys?"
