Again, he didn’t want them asking what he had done, for the subject was still fresh and admittedly painful. "Oh me?" he questioned wringing his neck again, "Well I Slaughtered five Dukes, their Family's, three fistfuls of nobles, and their servants" he said pausing as he wrings his neck once again muttering "Damn this things unbearable". "And well you know revenge isn't exactly a justified mean in this monarchy" He said before slumping against the wall. "There's my reasons for being here with you all and in this predicament before you, Anything else?" he said throwing the question out to the room.
Jack let out a short laugh when Murcary asked if there would be ‘anything else’, as if someone had just given him the third degree.

Whether Murcary’s reaction was good humored or not, Jack would smile to convey he meant no harm.

Then he looked at Jhanandra, having heard her try to deduce the reason they might have been ‘chosen'. “There doesn't seem to be any correlation to why we’re all here. Everyone's reasons, the way they look- It’s all random.”

Eona tried not to act as nervous as she was starting to feel. These people seemed to have actually done some pretty bad things to have ended up in here. She couldn't image why she was being included with them, but she didn't think it could be good.
"I'm Eona," she said trying to give a friendly smile. No one was going to be intimidated by her, but maybe she could at least use her natural friendliness to make them not want to hurt her. "Eona Morrit."

Well Jhanandra was only in here for a brawl so that was not such a bad crime- not to say she was not dangerous but she was not the one in this cell to be concerned with the most... "We may be here for different offences but no crown just throws several wildly divergent prisoners into the same cell without cause."

"Murcary Levi, But you can call me Murcary" he said Looking towards jacks direction. "I third that, it is extremely unusual that were all in here together despite the varying extremities" He said as he stares up to the ceiling. "I'd love to know what the chancellor and his crowns are up to".
A thoughtful look came to Eona's face, nothing was making sense, but if they had more information maybe they could start coming up with answers. "How long have you all been here? I've been here a few days, but I don't think it's been a full week."

She was escorted towards the transitional cell by a full fist of five. The larger cell that houses Eona, Jhanandra, Jack, and Murcary was intended to keep prisoners for the shirt term, those that were about to be transported off, most often to either to the quarries for hard labor or the gallows.
The slip of a girl was fully restrained. Not in the common sense but in terms of magic. With fingers bound, and a gag in place, there was little that a magician could do to weave the flows that moved through all things.
There was something different about her since emerging from the cell. Once she'd known she was being transported she realized that her opportunity to play one of the guards had passed. Thus gone was the timid, meek girl that had sought aid from a burly, righteous, guardsman and now existed something else.
The blonde elven woman was a restrained queen, commanding in her presence, demanding the respect of her those that escorted her. Despite her situation the guards responded to her carriage without being conscious of it. At first glance one would think they were her guards, protecting her.
They opened the cell for for her and stepped aside but they remained, crossbows at the rest in case one of the other prisoners attempted to remove Assallya's bindings or gag.

Jhanandra said sarcastically. "Come, we all have been getting to know one another. Sit and speak of your misdeeds with us."

Looking towards the door as another person enters pretty restricted with guards on standby, "Well shes probably in here for something similar to me" he says with a smirk. After Eona removes her gag and the guard shuts up about being right there agreeing with Jhanandra "Yes come sit oh fifth one tell us your crimes and join your think bubble on why we're all in here" he says nodding toward the empty bench space.

I would theorize they need deniable assets and thus surmise it's theft of something from some other power, a preemptive strike on an enemy they do not wish to be at war with or something along that ley line."

"Captain Devlin's met have been ordered to shoot at will if any of you attempt to escape or cause any other trouble," he finished, then left the cell. With little choice, the five prisoners left as well and were led to the same audience chamber where their skills had been tested. Sitting in the same chair he had been before, was Chancellor Delmarin, right hand to the king.
"The five of you have been selected to perform a task for the benefit of his Majesty and the kingdom," the chancellor said once the prisoners had been placed in the center of the room and the guards had taken up their positions around the edges. "If you do well, your sentences may be...reconsidered."
