I think they were just trying to look in for a future actual attempt when I wasn't home?

We realized we have like an hour of them casing the outside of the house, and some of the neighbors, on security camera.

I can't help but think this would not have happened if Venice were around. She was extremely gentle but she was still a 50lb dog.

A big dog is usually a pretty good detriment, yeah. Puppy might have the purest heart but she's only a lil' thing.

Hopefully that'll work to catch them or something.

She's still so tiny I'm mostly still carrying her around everywhere because her little legs practically make cartoon noises trying to keep up.

I feel extra weird about it because they appeared genuinely homeless and they asked me for food and I gave them a big grocery bag of bread and cheese and apples and granola bars and stuff before I realized that they were actually (also?) there to try and break in, or at least case my home for a break in?
