So this is Epic Week, which is a 7-10 day set of games and contests to celebrate the site's birthday. 
There's explanations in the recent news posts and a tutorial that goes over much of how to join in!
I tried to punch it! If that didn't do damage at least I looked ridiculous! Hehe!
I got that, lol.
I just don't know how to participate in some of the things

I saw the rules but that's too much info for me xD
The weapons, fighting the creatures that spawn, stuff like that
Here's the basics:
New monsters spawn at the start of every hour (:00)
Monsters get ALL of their health back every five minutes (:00, :05, :10, :15, etc.)
So when you attack a monster, you have to be sure you can kill it completely before the next five minute round starts. Which means coordinating with other people to gang up on the same monster in the same time period.

Like I use ray guns and rocket launchers against them and it barely does much damage. No matter what, I just end up failing lol.
All battles are a team effort.
How do you coordinate with other people?
By talking to them, usually in this chat.
