Hi everyone! Brand spanking new! Just saying hi as cajoled.

A little about me- I've been writing seriously for more than a decade, but most of what I write (professionally) is dry academic garbage, so I really enjoy the more creative process of story-writing when I get the chance. I'm pretty open to genres/themes/stories; I'm just looking to stretch my creativity and step outside of the boring box of academia.

Editing because everyone should also know that I have a Great Dane, and she is, indeed, the GREATEST DANE. That is all. See you guys out there!!

The dry academic garbage is my bread and butter, so I can't hate it. Not really. I just hate what it does to my brain unchecked. No one wants raisin brains.

Hi!

Honestly, all the things. More recently I've written primarily:

- fantasy
- sci-fi
- historical/period, usually with drama or fantasy elements
- horror/mystery (all of the above usually adventure based),

but I've also enjoyed:

- modern
- mecha
- slice of life
- romance
- steampunk

Basically, I'm a big fan of anything that is focused on story and/or character development. World building is great. Shallow stuff, less my jam, but the particulars of the plot line are less important. I also like thought-provoking storylines that require problem-solving!
