Hi all, I'm Soap.
I used to roleplay a lot as a teenager in forums, namely urban fantasy/horror, although I'm always open to foray outside of my comfort zone. My love for roleplaying turned into a passion for creative writing: I have a few short stories and poems published, and have been working on two novels, so safe to say my writing's decent lol.
I'm more vibes-based when it comes to starting out my characters, in the sense that I usually develop their backstory off of some bones as I go along. I find that it helps not to be too rigid! I also generally prefer to RP original stories, not fanfic.
I recently revived one of my old RP accounts and every single forum was dead. It made me realise just how much I missed the whole art of RPing, and decided to give this place a go. Hoping to find some fun people!

It's also nice to see another horror fan join the repository, love-dove and calm needs a balance where it can so frights and fights are a great way to even such :]
