Hi!
I used to hang out here for a while starting in 2014 back when I was still in high school. A lot has happened since- anywhere from being down on myself and stuck, anxious, stressed, and unsure, to feeling a little like my life is its own wild adventure and having a few things under my belt that I'm proud of. During this time, a lot of my passion for RP, worldbuilding, creative writing and anything artistic in general got pushed far to the back. Even when I had awesome people to play TTRPG's with, things didn't always quite click like they used to. I think recently I am finally managing to truly touch bases with this side of me. I'm remembering how to really give myself the kind of relaxation I think I needed, the kind of me-time with my "silly" fantasy projects that aren't here to meet any goal. It's certainly way harder to do this as an adult, but I hope I can manage to occasionally allow myself to take a pause from thinking about things like my job and the state of my sink- and bury my head in my random mess of handwritten notebooks and scattered google docs.
So... yeah. I'm not really sure what brought me back here specifically. I'm pleasantly surprised to see it seems like the site is still up and running and there's activity! I hope to just kind of interact with you RP people and get inspired by what ya'll are doing out here. Maybe when some pieces of my own fantasies feel ready I'll bring them out to RP in a non real-time setting. I definitely think forums are more comfortable for me over chat spaces like discord (though if there is an RPR discord I will totally join- is there a discord?). I'm a lot more hesitant chatting online these days than I used to be, but here's a first step. Also, my screen name last time was Danger, if anyone remembers..? Might consider recovering it at some point if there's a way, but for now I am starting fresh. It's an edgy sounding name but I'm actually really not

Yes there’s some activity, no it’s not dead, and if I see at what only this doe has written, no, it’s alive (and kicking).
There are no ‘silly’ projects, only slightly delayed ones. I’m sure you can ‘dig’ out a few ideas and realize them here.
There is somewhere an (un)official RPR discord, but I can’t tell, maybe someone else will lighten this candle.
Just enjoy the forums and take your time 😉

I'm 99% sure there isn't an official RPR Discord server. Moderating two distinct chat spaces to the same exact standards is a lot of work! There are plenty of people who advertise their own Discord-based RPs, though; you can find some of them through the 'Find RP' tool, and others have made Groups here which they then use as a sort of landing page. So if you at some point decide you're up for that type of RP, it's definitely out there! ♪(´▽｀)

Welcome back to RPR! I gotta say i’ve come to prefer these forum roleplays more as well. I hope to see you indulge more in your fantasy projects here!

As many have said and do say, once an imaginative roleplayer, always a roleplayer. ^w^
Although I especially wasn't around in 2014 and beyond that as I was way to young to even understand what a computer was properly, I can say that the repository is still up, active, and with open arms to welcome you back, and having gained plenty more members since to start stories with as well as kept many older members to possibly see again.
Hope you recover that old account and perhaps rediscover a bit of lost information about characters and stories you might have lost or left behind, and otherwise find exactly what you're looking for!
