Hello!!! After what seemed like an eternity of LONGING for the perfect roleplay site, the one that could do it all, and that's easy to use, i finally stumbled upon RPR! I'm shiny new here, i have no idea of where i am (actually i do, but point stands) and i have no idea of what to do, so see this as a friendly introduction and a cry for help in hopes that a veteran will come adopt me...or at least show me the ropes and answer many questions. English is not my first language and social skills aren't my strong suite, so please pardon the eventual linguistic slip-ups!

The easiest way to begin is by beginning. Grab a snack and click around for a bit! Look at some profiles of both people and characters - there's no one way, or wrong way, to do things. There's even a whole, official Getting Started Guide you can find right here.
"No idea what to do?" Sure you have! Make some characters and go take a look at some ads to see if you can't find something that piques your interest. After that, it's just a matter of reaching out. The worst that can happen is that someone says no, right? I hear they banned the ritual sacrifices back in 2017.

Welcome to RPR! I joined about a month ago and I've found my way around, so it shouldn't be too difficult!
I recommend looking at everything Bruinen mentioned, the guides are pretty insightful. Some things i've also learned are:
- 1x1 Roleplays are generally done using the inbox feature. people like to have one subject for out-of-character chatter, and a separate subject for the actual roleplay
- If you want to get more active in the community side of things, go chat or roleplay in the forums. Smalltalk can help you get to know people, and forum games or roleplays can connect you with other characters.
If you have any more questions feel free to reach out to me! I'm also still a bit of a newbie lol, I've yet to really get involved in the group aspect of this site.

If you read the answers, you see a lot of hints and things to do, to start here in the forum. You did already the right thing to introduce here and ask for help. As already said, there’s the ‘Help’ section and ‘Looking for RP’ and other links, use them! They are made for you, they are made for people who do not know how to start of.
And if you still don’t find your way, ask! Nobody will judge your language skills, nobody will mock you, I know this for sure, I’ve been through same. And it has become THE perfect site for me.
