Hello Nebs! Welcome to RP Repository! :)
There is a nice dice function at the bottom of the reply box which we have fun using. It may fit for your purpose.
Also, there are widgets in character profiles that can be used to build character sheets. I hope you have fun here!

Ohh I didn't know about the widgets before, that's good to know! Thank you for the welcome and the information.
rolled 3d6 and got a natural 10.
4 2 4

Note: I try to use the dice function, 13 or below to succeed (+4 modifier included due to it being a routine task).

Yea it's so annoying.

You can age verify here, but it doesn't restrict you from anything. It's just weather or not players feel comfy playing with someone that's age verified or not. I'll trust choices, not demands, lol.

ANYHOW I did actually write an entire rant out, then deleted most of it because it's an introduction post, not Four's Debate Hour.

We have the same opinions, anyway. Hi Nebs! It's quite similar tbh, you just type it out instead of say it - and of course the dice. I've never played a whole ttrpg on RPR (Or at all now I think of it) I do freeform, But I bet you'll do great! It's a nice community here.

Very understandable on the rant, it's hard not to spiral into one with how frustrating all of their choices that lead up to this are.

I really do wish I could do free-form roleplay more often but the lack of structure absolutely makes my head spin, I find the honesty and fairness of mechanics grounding so that's what I hope to include in whatever I write.

Oh and thank you for the warm welcome, does seem like a lovely community here!

Hello! Decently experienced GM here looking for new spots to run in, as of me writing this post there's been a rather concerning announcement on Discord regarding their new age verification protocols (which I believe is a great loss of privacy and safety considering recent data breaches), thus I find myself here, rather impressed by the general soul of the website! From a first glance I can already appreciate the cohesive aesthetic employed here while the rest of the internet falls into homogeneous mundanity.

As for me personally, I'm Nebs, I much prefer GMing (with dice and sheets!) over actually roleplaying a single character and I hope to mainly get a good feel of the forum type format (along with the rest of the site for reference).

I do have a few ideas on how to utilize this account (if I do go through with using this site) though, mainly being turning my "characters" into setting books that detail their worlds, types of campaigns possible within them, current active campaigns, and parties.

The system I am most focused on at the moment is GURPS, and it will continue to be that way for quite some time (I like it, d6s over d20s any day).

Oh, and as for genres I like writing in, modern is my preferred, though I've been preparing for sci-fi lately (and I'm unopposed to noir as well, lots of ideas for that one)!

As Dracula said to Harker, "Welcome, enter freely of your own will and leave some of the happiness you bring. Come freely and go safely."

And I would say, "You're most welcom, enter freely of your own will, and leave some of the darkness you bring... Enjoy the infinite beauty of RP."
Welcome!
Welcome. Hope you enjoy going down all the rabbit holes here as you learn the site. :)
Welcome to RPR... Much here to offer

(As a note, could someone tell me if I'm using the reply function correctly? I'm unsure on if I should quote a bunch of messages at once in one reply with responses below each of them or if I should reply individually to each -)

This is very much a style preference! I think you're doing fine :) Welcome, btw!
Welcome!
Hey! I'm new as well, I hope we all find some great people on here!
