Copying my intro from my profile, I've never been great at ice breakers
Hello!
Please feel free to call me Dulcet, Musings, or DM. I'm 31, She/Her, LGBT+, UTC-7, and I've been RPing since I was... 11? 12? Painful to admit how time flies. I am a returning college student on the path to my second degree, and work part time. I also have an extensive career as an artist, though the passion has left for a while (part of the reason for the second degree), and I create character playlists like it's nobody's business.
I am an avid TTRPG gamer, with a collection of books that easily fills an IKEA bookshelf. I'm on this site to see whether or not this would be a viable place to find other like-minded RPers that would be interested in standard PBP games, or perhaps co-op options. I'm a big fan of theater-of-the-mind style play and have vast amounts of experience in running games online, but surprisingly not through forums. Up until now, it's always been discord. I'm excited to try forums again though, I haven't used it as an rp medium since gaiaonline... oooh, once again feeling old.
Anyway! Here's a core list of TTRPGs I'm hoping others might have an interest in, or ones I could teach people how to play, in order of presumed popularity:
Are there more in my collection? Most definitely! There's some big name systems I don't have listed but technically own, mostly because they're systems I'm either already running, playing in, or otherwise have my fill of at the moment. That said, tell me about your favorite system, I could gab about these silly books and dice all day.

-
D&D (2014 and 2024)
Vampire: The Masquerade (I prefer v5, but I know v20, as well as the Mind's Eye larp rules and the Laws of the Night variation. My personal favorite system and setting)
Call of Cthulhu (6th ed)
Root RPG
City of Mist
Delta Green
Ironsworn
Mutant: Year Zero (my beloved)
Vaesen
Forbidden Lands
Dread (great for one shots, and there's a wonderful online resource for faking the Jenga tower feel online)
10 Candles (you'd be surprised at how well this works, but it's so depressing that I rarely ever get to run it)
Are there more in my collection? Most definitely! Welcome! I hope you find what you're looking for and have a wonderful time here
