hi hi!! this is a bit of a new experience for me as I've never done forum based roleplay!!
some basics on me! I like fantasy based rps but some historical stuff mixed in is fun too!

iv been a rping from 5th grade or so (in comparison I'm a highschool senior now! ok I'm unc!)
only question I have is how do you guys handle more complex ocs?

yes!! my first rp was (funny enough) Roblox games! the I had drifted to Minecraft, and then found amino!! that was my first text based! iv never rp'd on smth like a site but I've used amino and discord! I'd assume its not much different but it feels it!

Haha no you’re right! I was just joking that compared to where I started I’m so much older now! It’s like when you joke that your friend that’s just a year or so older knows dinosaurs!

Fifth grade, huh? And now you're like a dinosaur as you passed Highschool... yeah, you're 'unc' and 'ol'school'... sure.
I think you might find quite a few like-minded fun people to RP with, fantasy being still a big yes around here. Just be prepared to meet a larger community of real dinosaurs (compared to fifth graders) that for sure will help you with any kind of character.
My little doe is quite a 'complex' character, but I described her quite accurately with real facts about deer for example. 🤔 I at least suppose her to be complex, or is she just a silly simple doe? Have a look at people's characters and judge about their complexity, ask if someone interests you, nobody bites around here.
