@zelphyr Spacing can still matter, but upper/lower case has been solved for many years hence. Answers and guesses are both converted to lower case before comparison.

I could have sworn there was a recent year where it mattered.

The last time it mattered was like... the third time I did Epic Week and didn't realize *I* had typod the capitalization in the answer. People had long since guessed and I thought they hadn't because it hadn't unlocked, but the casing was wrong

So I just wrote that out as a mistake I could ever make again

A lot of learning about how to do a successful Epic Week has been learning how to exhaustion proof against myself

I mean, that IS a great skill to develop.

I suppose I should keep alive the possibility that someone comes to me with a science based riddle where the capitalization matters A LOT and I write in some special code for just that symbol in a future year

Gotta admit I didn't expect anyone to actually be familiar with the band thing.

That riddle happened because I randomly remembered that book/album at work one day, so that was just going through my head the whole day while I was cleaning.

And then mid-year I got a riddle submission. Can't tell you what a shock and delight it was.

Kinda a little extra "yay!" that someone found it familiar.
