"Well, this one is a bit more problematic than usual." Francis said. "I never revealed my paranoia of aliens, but somehow it gleaned that. It also found something to terrify Visia, which was probably..." He had some guesses about what it was, but didn't feel it was his place to say. "...anyways, tea would help her, thank you."
She still wasn't responding, but seemed to comprehend what he was saying, as she slowly moved to stand on her own. Recognizing that he would need to, Francis took her hand and lead her downstairs and into the kitchen. He found a place for her to sit down, allowing Brodi to handle the tea.
"Ripley's right. After this, we'd better get Visia home. I'm sorry we weren't able to solve your conundrum today, but we'll regroup and come up with a plan of action."

Brodi bungled around in the kitchen. He knew where everything was, but it appeared making tea was not something he did much. Still, he managed to get out some mugs, find the tea stash, and get some water boiling in an electric kettle. Honey was scrounged up, and a package of cookies plopped down on the long, rectangular table.
"I don't think you guys should come back," Brodi said as he spooned a ridiculous amount of honey into each mug. "This is way too much for a bunch of kids like you. It's going to put you guys in the hospital or something."
Ripley shrugged. "Been there, done that. It's not so bad after the first time."
Brodi stared at her, dripping honey on the table. Then he shook his head and put random tea bags into the cups before pouring in the boiling water. "You guys are absolutely crazy. Nah, if it's this bad, maybe I can hire some adult to take care of it. I got a little allowance. Maybe my folks will go for it." He slid the cups in front of them and took a drink of his own while it was still ridiculously hot and hadn't had any time to seep. "Thanks for trying, though. And not being dumb about it and trying to make fun or something."
