There was a battle royale awhile ago called "Spellbreak" that got sunset a few years ago. It was magic themed and might fit kinda? Though I'm not really sure.
"Man, that would have been useful" feels like a quote....

Would this have to do with Adventure Zone: Royale? I haven't listened to it, just Balance (which did have space involved) but the symbol and "adventurous" reminded me of the Adventure Zone?

Quick searching makes me think it's probably The Adventure Zone: Earthsea specifically. I'm just going to trawl proper nouns off tvtropes when it's open, but anyone who knows more is VERY encouraged to be more useful than I will

On research I got a return off TAZ episode 68 "Balance", Magnus Burnsides calling out this phrase "Man that would have been useful" when they get full capacities and memories back as Starblasters, being struggling during all the other 67 episodes, 100 years of cosmos travel.
Tres Horny Boys challenging Royal Bear and Royal Wolf, Magnus defeating the bear in the battle of the Bureau of Balance and Flying afterwards into the Hunger-storm.

OHHH really good call! If you have the quote itself, could you link it please because I canât find it in the transcript? Otherwise, based on your theory and as far as fighting the Royal Bear goes, I think maybe one of the possible answers could be chimpanzee.
Iâm still combing through the transcripts for the Adventure Zone Royale for anything about space or a lack thereof, and something useful. đ
Someone mentioned Earthsea, if someone can comb through that too? I wish the transcripts werenât in PDF this would have been way easier đ
I'm not one to know, but does it sound like something from the "Dungeon Crawler Carl" series?
Okay here are possible answers as far as TAZ: Royale go (Context: this series is an all-wizard party, competing to the death in a battle royale against other wizards to become one of the eight reigning wizards of that world. I know the mascots are not always clues but I like to think it being the magician in this case helps câ: )

Travisâ character trying to move up a spiralling staircase where the bottom is slowly being filled up with liquid (and kelp thatâs been transmuted into eels) and the staircase itself slowly spiralling down into the water. So space is becoming a problem for sure.
One of the competing wizards makes it up very quickly, much to Travisâ surprise, to which Griffin (who is DMing) reminds him that he could have also used the Dash action at any time.
So âChromatic Orbâ or âDashâ are things to try maybe

I just finished reading all 7 dungeon crawler carl books and a D20 never makes an appearance, so i donât think this is related to that IP
