I'm a bit late to the party here so I'm sure others have sufficiently given you lot's of advice and all... but yeah, it's always fun for me as well to see others who are into RP for fantasy and dragons stuff. If you've ever got any questions about this site or RP in general, my PMs are open to you. Hope you enjoy your stay, I'll see you around! This place is pretty cool.
P.S. I eased into RP on this site by contributing in some public rp forums around here. Even though on most of them I got no replies, it was helpful to me to get a feel for how the site worked and how to kinda just jump in. Might be helpful for you as well... or, maybe not! I'm sure you'll find your niche soon enough.
