"Don't thank us. Really." Lily smiled, "I rarely make friends at all either, people tend to not take me seriously...and that I'm way too childish...but the perks of this place is people are at least kind and accepting." Aza seemed to nod as she jumped up onto the counter with the help of a chair.
"Well, thank-" he stopped himself. "I'm glad to have made some friends."
He looked outside at the setting sun. "I was thinking of going running in the forest this evening," he told them. "No one is going to worry if they see a black wolf running about are they?"

"Nah, we're used to seeing all sorts of things at night." Lily smiled, "after all, we are in the middle of a forest."
"Just be careful because there are tribes of werewolves out there."
"Yeahh...if you see several wolves all together, just be careful, okay?" she grinned, "wouldn't want you to become dinner. I like you too much already." she chuckled.

"Ware-wolves?" Valen asked, his face almost looking excited. "Really?"
He looked back at the other two.
"I'm sure I'll be alright. I've learned a lot of tricks over the past few years." Suddenly he vanished from before their eyes. Next thing they knew he was in the far corner of the room. "You'd be surprised how fast a mosquito can fly," he said. Then he vanished again, this time in the form of a fly he flew over to the spot where he had been standing on the floor... then the fly disappeared even and nothing could be seen at all.
Next thing they knew he was back, standing there in human form.
"I have everything from large animals, small insects, all the way down to germs," he explained. "And if one dies I just loose that shifting form and revert to the next form of my choice."

"O-oh..." Aza uttered as Lily's eyes just formed into stars, white sparks coming from her fingertips. Aza raised a brow at her sister before turning her gaze back to Valen. "That's cool!"
Valen smiled, a little sheepishly but a smile none the less. He had never had anyone admire or look well upon his abilities. It was a pleasent change from the cries that still called him a monster in his nightmares.
He looked over at Lily with a smile, then back at Aza. The two of them seemed like very kind hearted people and he was glad to know them.
"Maybe on of these days I'll have to give you a ride on Starspray," he told them, glancing backnto Lily for a moment. "She is a horse I saved."
(Hey, have had TONS of fun!
I better call it quits for tonight, though. Will see you tomorrow. *waves*. )

Valen shuffled around a bit, looking around the clinic. "So do you donthe check ups every day or is it like a once a week thing or what? I think Kai would enjoy helping out regularly."

Aza was quick to speak as Lily just stayed in her starry eyed daze. "We do check-ups on the orphans every few weeks. For example, the next check-ups, which will be on the 11 - 13 year olds, will be just in 2 weeks from now." she said, "Buuut, sometime in between then, all 3 - 5 year olds get to go play in the field nearby, so I think Kai will be really helpful then."
Valen glanced over at Lily. He smiled a bit and then looked back at Aza. He nodded, "Sounds good to me," he said. "I think she would enjoy that."
He looked back at Lily but said nothing.
He looked back at Lily but said nothing.
"...sis?" Aza stared at Lily, and even waved a hand in front of her face. Lily did nothing in her daze. "...I'm sorry about her. She loves anything that isn't exactly considered the norm. Magic, all the different creatures, and much more; so you're trick earlier definitely...struck the nerd in her...." Aza even snapped in front of her face, but that didn't really do anything. Lily's fingers still sparked with white magic.
"Oh," Valen said. "That's ok... It's probably the first time anyone has seen my abilities as anything positive. Most people freak out and call me a monster or just run away from me or something."
"welp. Welcome to Golden Tree Hollow buddy" Aza simply responded. She then slid in front of Lily to lightly slap her cheeks. It didn't snap her out of it.
(Chatzy's meaaaaaaaan)

Valen looked at Lily again and walked slowly up to her. "Lily?" He called her name, bending down to look at her sparkling eyes. He had never seen such a thing before but to be honest he thought it looked magical... In a good way.
He looked back to Aza. "Maybe I should have toned it down a little?"
(Lol I see. :p )

"Nah, no matter how much you do she'll still get into a daze no matter what." Aza giggled, "besides, this is the only moment she seems truly peaceful. Hold on, I'll wake her up." She then took her right hand and lightly placed the back of it on Lily's cheek, before bringing it back and SLAP
"OOOW!!!!: Lily whined, before glaring at her little sister. She then reached out a hand and pinched her nose, causing her to let out a yelp and a laugh; she giggled as Lily's fingertips still sparkled, and she spoke in a nasally voice "stop! The sparks tickle!"

Valen smiled at the two of them. It was a unique relationship these two sisters had, for sure. He wanted to laugh but he didn't dare laugh in public... What if they thought he was laughing AT them instead of with them. No... He simply smiled.
"Are you ok, Lily?" Valen finally spoke.
"Are you ok, Lily?" Valen finally spoke.
"I'm fine, I'm fine." Lily said, not releasing the pink haired girl's nose as she looked at Valen. Aza giggled more, gripping Lily's wrist in an attempt to pull the hand away from her nose. "It's just that I thought that trick was SOOOO COOL!" she said in awe, "I've gotta write that down in my journal!!" she almost squealed, but blushed and cleared her throat, using her free hand to cover her mouth.
This time Valen let out the slightest chuckle, but very soft. "Thank you," he said looking down at his feet.
He looked back up after a while and rubbed his foot against the floor. "Do... Well, your fingers and eyes? How does that work?" He asked.

"Oooohhh..." she released Aza from her grip and held out both of her hand. "This is easy to explain right here, the sparks are from my magic power. They'll spark, glow, and other things depending on my mood, my physical and mental health, and how much magic energy I have, but also when I cast a spell." she let a white orb shape up from sparks on her fingers before rolling it around in her palm as if it were a normal ball.
"Now, my eyes, and this happens with Aza too but mostly me, will change depending on my current mood." her eyes seemed to sparkle less than before.

Valen smiled. "That's really neat." He had never heard of such things, but he figured he would be running into a lot of that. He liked the idea, though. New things to learn, new places to explore, new friends to make too... Hopefully. He seemed tonget along well with Lily and Aza.
