I am Pawn, and there is a great chance that I suck at role plays.
I have never role played in my life, other that playing make believe as a child. I'm not sure when the mental transition was made from thinking, "That's a geeky thing to do... Not for me." to, "Eh, I've accepted myself as a geek. What the hell; I'll give it a shot." Lately I've been watching a lot of LARPING and D&D videos (although, it all seems a bit foreign, still) and I think it would be fun to try out. I'm not horribly shy, so I'm ready to throw everything I've got at this. It will take me a bit to grow good at, but I'm ready to go.
That being said, if anyone is experienced with role playing, feel free to help me out.
I like art and literature, and the fantasy genre has slowly crept it's way into my life. I like how harsh and free it can be, so I'd like to try a fantasy role play first. I'm working on being descriptive with my words, because I can be a bit straight-to-the-point.

When getting started with RP, I really recommend this primer on basic RP concepts as a starting place. Even if you have some RP experience, it can be a nice way to see what the general norm is here.
