Ayura managed a bit of a pained smile at the mention of reading minds. "I figured," she muttered, her own mind still almost like an impenetrable wall to Jack, one that he couldn't read even if he tried. "I can imagine that reading minds can be a little...exhausting...especially in a crowd." She fidgeted with her scrubs absently, casting her gaze away, trying to avoid reciprocating the question of special abilities. "I don't like crowds either."
