Hi everyone! As you can probably tell, if anyone is even reading this, I'm new here. While this site is quite different to what I'm used to, I'm not new to roleplaying! I'm pretty open to many different ideas in terms of plots and such, though I'm most comfortable in a more medieval setting with or without fantasy elements. This said, I am open to trying new things as well! I love stories and thorough descriptions; the occasional romance isn't entirely unwelcome either.
I'm pretty bad at introductions but... Well, I tried. I'm excited to be here and hopefully I'll be able to start up some RPs soon!
If you have any questions about me, my character, (which I'll probably be creating soon) or what sorts of RP I enjoy, don't hesitate to ask! Since I'm pretty new here, any advice or tips you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Help for getting your roleplaying adventures started.
When you're ready to begin roleplaying, advertise for a roleplay or ask to join on an existing topic here (refer to the help section if you do not know how to do so). After finding a partner(s), you can then roleplay in one of the three roleplaying forums, a PM, or a group.

What kind of hobbies do you have aside from RPing?

Thanks so much! At the moment I'm just creating my character and kind of looking around to see what sorts of things are on here, but I'll definitely ask if any questions do come up. As far as my other hobbies go, I love drawing, (animals mainly) reading, and downhill skiing in the wintertime.

Thank you! I personally think my writing could be greatly improved, but I'm glad to see that you think it's neat. I'd love to roleplay with you as well!
My favorite thing about fantasy... Well, I like how you don't have to stick to the rules of our world. You can be anyone you want, in any world that you can come up with. The creativity between partners is amazing, and the intricate stories and plots that can evolve from just two people I find to be absolutely fascinating. I love writing.. but I often get stuck by myself. I find that in roleplaying this doesn't happen because you're not writing alone. Not to mention, I thoroughly enjoy reading as well.
Anyways... that was kind of a long answer to a short question, but, I appreciate all the support you guys are giving already!

Character creation is always fun, and this site helps make it as easy a process as possible. And drawing is a hobby of mine too. For years the only subjects I could draw were animals/monsters, but a few years ago I took up the challenge of adding people to my efforts, and now I think I draw them more than animals, surprisingly. I have noticed, though, that any time I get an artblock, I go right back to my roots and draw animals again, haha.
I've actually never tried skiing! Closest I've gotten is snowboarding, but that's not really the same. How long have you been skiing for?

I'm beginning to try drawing people as well, but so far I can't do much on my own. (I need some sort of reference otherwise things go downhill really fast... lol..) I seem to have little spurts of creativity so I don't draw too often at the moment, though I'll hopefully start up more this summer.
I've never really tried snowboarding before-- only once, and let's just say that it didn't end too well. xD I personally think it's a lot harder than skiing, mainly because the amount of balance needed. I've been skiing since I was very young, probably since I was stable enough to hold myself up. I don't go too often though, only a few times a year, so I'm not amazing at it by any means. Still, I find it enjoyable.
