Might I suggest that the alphabet key that was created be moved to a place of greater prominence in the riddler summary posts?
You've verified that it works pretty well by now, and as you might imagine, knowing the language is pretty crucial in dealing with alien invaders!

Yes, I had the same thought after I went to bed last night!
...Epic Week thoughts, always intrusive.
...Epic Week thoughts, always intrusive.

I'll get on that shortly!

Epic week: Ruining sleep schedules and educations since 2014!

Or Dragon can rearrange and I'll copy it over? I have to focus on something else for about 15 minutes.

It seems like the alphabet is mostly being used in the Puzzle# nodes, so we could either place it above the Blue Booster things, or put it way up at the top of the post.
The numbers have come up over in the Greek Letter nodes, meanwhile.
I mean... I would argue that those that really want to solve riddles educate themselves in media knowledge.
;; Which, is technically kind of useless.

...Maybe I'll just do a key at the top. That sounds like the best place for now.
Well, depending on the riddles.
Some of the riddles this year - actually, about half or so - don't have anything to do with media. They're more related to cryptology, mathematics, and linguistics, and the Epic Week comics and movies.
But media is also pretty fab, of course.
It's a nice mix of both this year, I really like it!
Oh, of course. e v e
Yes, for the past few years we've had a lot of people say they want to help with riddles but aren't good at trivia, so we designed a whole new style of puzzle that has nothing to do with trivia. Pretty much everything you need to know about those is contained within Epic Week itself. And I'll say again since people keep asking me if XYZ is a misdirect: The game is designed to be won

I think it was rather good that we had no recent events in the epic week answers, given the year we've had since.
I can't recall a time I've done "recent events" style trivia! It's 90% been about nerdy fandoms, with maybe 10% ancient history for funsies.
Oh yeah, kim, i was thinkin. You ever want to do a norse mythology puzzle.... hit me up

None of us would stand a chance

may as well since we're on the topic, a couple non-fandom trivias (geography, biology, etc.) next time would be sweet, so there's also an option for people to get involved who aren't too strong on the pop culture or math fronts. i remember one of the answers to a riddle last year being some kind of prehistoric amoeba.
