Also odd, it says the thing that fell was the Sarpedon, but the Triarii fell in the same manner. This suggests that their is a difference in how to two arrived.

This is exactly how the riddles are supposed to work, lots of different people talking over ideas.

...The names also throw me off. Sarpedon, Triarii... When I think of don, I also think dos, or something akin to two. Triarii is clearly three. Die star appearing would definitely be the first event. The bosses themselves may not be it, but the names are too suspicious to me to not let go so easily.

Has anyone tried what might logically be the creatures STR stat, based off their damage modifier?

Traditional Table Top Mechanics suggest that the Strength of most of the beasts are between 14-16, based off their 2-3 damage modifier on their attacks.

Maybe the sum of those numbers?

I do not believe anything like that has been tried, Enkeli! If you want to throw out some numbers, they can definitely be given a go when the booster is clear of monsters.

When do you want us to try clearing those boosters? Quite a few people are ready to start opening some cans.

Ok... here's some numbers to try out. Based off table-top mechanics

Larval Alien = Damage Mod 0 = STR of 10-11

Jumping Larval Alien = DM 1 = STR 12-13

Levitating Larval Alien = DM 2 = STR 14-15

Noisy Cricket Xenobeast = DM 1 = STR 12-13

Fiendish Noisy Cricket = DM 2 = 14-15

Acidy Noisy Cricket = DM 3 = STR 16-17

Basilisk Xenobeast = DM 1 = STR 12-13

Frenzied Basilisk Xeno = DM 2 = STR 14-15

Toxic Basilisk Xeno = DM 3 = STR 16-17

Hulking Xeno = DM 1 = STR 12-13

Heavy Hulking Xeno = DM 2 = STR 14-15


If you add their max str for their mod, for each of those creatures, the sum = 157
The Min str for each mod, of each creature, the sum = 146

Alas, none of the numbers in that range worked! I got excited at 153, though, because it paused for a moment.
