I'm stuck on the clue "standing by for rescue" because with both the challenger and Colombia incident, there was no rescue. No one knew the flight crew would perish.. so I'm wondering if maybe it's not related to those incidents?

Could it be "The 33"? "33 miners trapped for more than two months under the stone walls of a Chilean copper mine.", NASA was involved in their rescue.

Gosh...this research is depressing! Just read all the gruesome facts about how the seven crew members died in the Columbia disaster...and it's horrible!

Maybe i'll look into that! Maybe it'll be less depressing!

Ok, so the opposite mood here from my earlier comments about wanting to see the hull get to 0 out of curiosity. I wonder what would happen if we get the hull to 2000+... would we actually get a second hull?
