Vilgax's ship shook as it was hit. "Status report?" Vilgax asked. "Damage to the ship is minimal. The primary cannon is still operational, though will require repairs before it is able to fire at maximum power without destroying the ship." Responded one of the drones. "Prepare the cannon to fire on that ship." Vilgax hissed. "Deploy the Mega-Drones." He ordered. "Yes my Lord." Said one of the other Drones. The cannon began to charge up another shot. Whilst it couldn't fire at full power until repairs are finished, the cannon would be more than capable of taking out the remaining ship.
Several missile shape probes shot from the hangar bay, quickly circling around and landing on the top of Vilgax's ship to face the fighters. The Missiles unfolded. Three legs came out of the cone. A pair of arms came from the sides ,and a head rose from the end. These Drones were easily over twenty feet tall. The Drones raised their arms, revealing cannons beneath, before they opened fire, firing beams at the TIE fighters and TIE Bombers. Several ships were taken down immediately by the barrage.

The Drones raised their arms, revealing cannons beneath, before they opened fire, firing beams at the TIE fighters and TIE Bombers. Several ships were taken down immediately by the barrage.
Two bombers were shot down and three fighters followed. Four bombers remained with nine fighters to depend them. Moving with the banshee like shriek of their wings they took up evasive maneuvers. The large drones couldn't shoot fast enough to hit the nimble Tie Fighters but the bombers were another story. Being caught in its turning cycle a bomber was shot in the wing. The whole ship sparked and blue sparks danced over it's hull. Flying above two of the drones its bomb bay detonated. The combined force of the explosion blasted two of the ten drones apart. The heads and upper torsos or two were shattered and another had it's arm blown off. Tie Fighters came back around and let off torpedoes. The nine fighters paired up and shot at four of them while the ninth shot its torpedo at the gun.

All cannons on the cruiser stop as they direct power.

The Mega Drones outside on Vilgax's ship continued their attack on the TIE fighters, as the surface cannons came to life and opened fire as well. "Sir, the shields of the ship are bolstered to the side facing us. The priamry cannon will be unable to break through the shields." One of the Drones said. "Then deploy two fleets of Fighter drones, and ten more Mega Drones to attack the weaker side." Vilgax said. "Yes my lord." The drone said.
Two fleets of Fighter drones emerged from the ship, atleast thirty total drones, and immediately shot to the Star destroyer and circling around it. They opened fire on the Star Destroyer. The Mega Drones were launched from Vilgax's ship. They crashed to the ground before beginning to position themselves under the side the fighter drones were attacking. It took them a few minutes to be properly stabilized for long range combat, but once they were set, they opened fire.
The fire from the Fighter drones was relentless and wouldn't let up, nor would the fire from the Mega Drones below. The combined concentrated fire from the Fighters and Megas was quickly beginning to tear through the shields.

The fighter drones began to chip at the Star Destroyers weaker side like insects on exposed skin. Their quick strafing shots were deflected but every so often some shots got through the shielding. The shield flickered on the right side and several shots hit the hull. They sparked on the thick metal but structural damage was minimum at worst. However if this kept going for too long it would rapidly build up.
On the planets surface the deployed Mega Drones were morphing into their ranged modes. These ones set up like a tripod as their main body turned into a massive long range cannon. It took almost a minute for them to fully deploy but then they opened fire. The barrage of ten shots pierced the weakened shields with fighter support and hit the side of the ship. The energy dissipated slightly from travel but the impact was felt. The cruiser inside was suffering damage from the shots but there wasn't yet a hull breach. Though after a full volley a hole broke open which sent alarms ringing and the cruisers damage section being locked down.
On the command deck Farlo saw the alarms and fighter assault. His own were being gunned down. He was down to one bomber and three fighters while their were still three of the Mega Drones left on Vilgax's hull. Farlo scurried up all remaining pilots and got six more Tie Fighters into the combat. Now against the attacking drones. His ship lacked the full number of pilots. The one destroyed contained four times the amount. Looking at the scanners to see the incoming fire from the surface Farlo sent the coordinates to the military base planet side. He was able to smile for the first time in a while when he got an instant reply telling him speeders and bombers were deployed to take out the cannons and two dozen more Tie Fighters were being redeployed to assist him. Maybe it wasn't a lost cause if the ship could hold out.

The Mega Drones continued their barrage, before detecting movement rapidly approaching.Two of them reconfigured into the standard assault mode, taking just as long to return to the standard Assault mode as it took to take on ranged mode, as the others deployed their on board Recon Drones. A total of twenty Recon Drones, two per Mega Drone, were ready and headed off to intercept the incoming forces. The two Mega Drones in their assault modes remained with the other Mega Drones.
Several of the Fighter Drones targeted the six TIE Fighters as they approached. Ten split off from the others and opened fire on the Six TIEs.

The swarm of small drones forced the TIE Fighters heading to the Destroyer to split. Keeping their wings turning and remaining in front or behind the smaller drones the TIEs were able to avoid being hit thanks to their thin wings. One was shot down in a storm of blasts which led to the wings bursting into flames and the cockpit crashing into the thin jungle below. Several green flashes lit up the swarm and blasted several of them to pieces as the dogfight continued. The larger Mega Drones looked over to the swarm of fighters but soon fell under fire. As the first engaged the fighters a second dozen opened fire on the Mega Drones. Six fired torpedoes which were split between the two Mega Drones. The explosions blasted the massive machines apart as they blew back and arms fell from the ship tumbling to the surface. The other six came through with a strike of blasters before being engaged by more fighters.
