Apollo Meyer (played by Mixpixi)

“My favorite band?..” Apollo scratched the back of his neck, a slightly nervous expression on his face as he turned to glance at the person questioning him. “Aw, man, it’s so hard to choose.. I like all sorts of music. Really depends on my mood.”

He fidgeted with his hands, pondering the question. “I mean, I’ve always been inclined towards alternative rock. Weezer is definitely up there.. But my favorite? Hm, I think I’m gonna go with Green Day.”

————————

Apollo turns to the next character, “so uh, what is your proudest accomplishment?”
Nina Phelps (played by Dawnia)

"My proudest accomplishment? I somehow managed to get my own daytime cooking TV show. Granted, I won it in a contest, and my chicken enchiladas convinced the judges that I was worthy of it, but I still don't believe I'm doing it.

What is the most relaxing thing you like to do?
Blight (played by CrypticStardust)

"Every evening, I drink a cup of chamomile tea and watch the sun set. That is quite relaxing."
"What do you expect to be your inevitable cause of death? If you are immortal, then make it hypothetical."
Dr. Todd Swordson (played anonymously)

"I find myself completely at peace when I eat dinner with my son."

What is your least-favorite snack?
Vincent Jones (played by Chaotic)

"Humans. They're not only heavy on the stomach, they're also heavy on your conscience. Even if it is purely eating in self-defense!
And then, they… I of course meant us, as in we! We don't even have the decency of tasting good, especially not to someone who has tasted the wonders of the modern food industry.
I'm sure the invention of readily available cheeseburger spared more people from werewolves than silver bullets."

"And for the other question, that has gone under, I don't know exactly how I'm going to die, but it's going to be brutal. That's like a 100%.
Fun fact: we don't know how old werewolves become before they die of old age. We could be dead by 60, we could life as long as vampires. We don't know, because our kind always dies violently way before.

Me personally? I'll probably do something stupid. Most likely, I'll die because I'll annoy a crime boss. Usually, they drop any attempts at my life the moment they realize it will take actual effort.
Some day I'll either meet someone very stubborn, or I'll accident just give someone powerful a good enough reason to put in all that effort."

"So, what's your favorite snack, and can I have a piece?"
"Favorite snack?" Aqer repeated, scratching the back of her bat-like ear. Then she let out a short, incredulous laugh. "Sour candies. Sour Patch Kids, Warheads, stuff that makes you cringe and your eyes water. Those are the good stuff. But if it don't make you feel like your soul wants to eject itself out your body, I don't want it."

"And nah. You jokin', sweetheart? I'd hoard it all for myself. Can't exactly have those tasty little treats around here, and the lab don't exactly hand out snacks freely. Not the tasty kind, anyway. It's all supplements, protein slop, high nutritional sludge, blah blah blah... Tastes like regret and chalk. Haven't seen a real candy bar in... hell, probably years."

"My turn. How far would you go to keep your freedom? What would you give up? Who would you burn? What lines would you cross just to make sure nobody ever puts you in a cage?"
Lizbeth Redwood (played by Fantax)

How far would I go? I don’t know, but nobody will ever put me back into a cage. Nobody…
The doe looks down, memories of her escape rising inside her.

But what would you be capable of, if ever someone could possibly put you in a cage?
"A cage?" The seemingly young woman ponders.
"I'd do what I always do: run. But make no mistake I won't go down quietly, they'd have to take me kicking and screaming for blood." She nods somberly. "A cage is only as good as the people who forge it, and I am better than they."

She laughs.
"On that note, what is the one thing you cherish the most?"
Kyra Lo'ora (played by Zelphyr)

"What, tryin'a think whatta grab t' put me in a bind?" the half-elf asked with a lazy, lopsided grin. "How's about we skip t' the part where I beat yer face in? A good fight's where it's at."

If you had a chance to relive any moment from your life, what moment would it be?
Max Force (played by Fantax)

Even if it was a quite sad moment in my life, as I was not well, but I would give anything to relive the moment Lizbeth collapsed into my arms, that moment was the beginning of a life change. ” He even answers that one question being unanswered, “And she’s even the thing I cherish the most, that being that made my life change for the better.

But you, the next one, did you ever cherish a being so much you’d do anything for him/her/them?
Asahi (played by CrypticStardust)

"Yes... That would be my little sibling. They are the most precious being in this world, and I will do everything in my power to ensure their safety and happiness." Asahi looked around with narrowed eyes, as if daring someone to challenge him on this.
"On that note..." He looked to the next person. "Do you have siblings? If yes, are you happy to have them? If you do not have any, do you wish that you did?"
Harmony Jay (played anonymously)

"A lot of the people in my family's circus are like siblings or other family, but there's just the two by blood: my little brother and baby sister. Jason's annoying and needs to learn how to bathe more regularly. Like, he's even worse than most boys. But no, you're not allow to be mean to him; only I'm allowed to do that," the obviously not-quite-human girl stated firmly. "And little Bella.... it's literally impossible to be mad at her. I don't care how old she gets, she'll always be my baby sister."

"So what's the most fun job you've ever had?"
Max Force (played by Fantax)

Max lifts his glass of whisky towards that question, the ice cubes making a melodic tingling sound.
"Oh heck, the most fun job. Gosh I will ever remember that one. We had to lay down a sequoia, 165foot tall, way over 1500k lbs, a hammer of a tree, it had about 15 feet diameter, my big chainsaw has a blade of 20inch. Took me half a day and 10 loads of fuel to cut through that one. But to lay it on the ground... I can tell you, it took us another 2 hours to make it fall. I assure you that makes a hell of a sound when that tip hits the floor. I think the needle of the seismic warning station nearby made a jump off paper. We had enough timber to fill half a dozen trucks and another week of work to get it all out. It ain't fun to buck down such majestic trees, but this one came to endanger habitats nearby. Next time will drop the houses too close to the trees." Max laughs, he'd be capable to do that, and before asking just tips his lips into his drink.

"How about regrets, did you ever regret having done a specific job?"
Lexi (played by ValkyrieLily)

"Hmm? Regrets? Not many of those, I fear, if any at all. Too damn time-consumin' to have somethin' that holds ya down, ya know?"

Lexi shrugged. "In my opinion, it's all action, all the time in my line of work. If somethin' ends up happenin' that leads to regret for most people, then it's no skin off my nose for me, ya know wha' I'm sayin'?."

"But to answer your question: No, I have no regrets. A job's a job, no matter how dirty it ends up gettin'. The only thing I will regret is not taking thin's head on."
Lexi turned to the next person, her question short, but oddly sincere for someone like her.

"Do you have any fears? Something scary you just can't shake, no matter what?"
Revenant (played anonymously)

There is a brief silence after Lexi makes her question. The Revenant's tilts down, its piercing gaze shining towards her general direction. In a way, it makes his eerie figure feel somewhat pitiful. "There is no such thing in my line of work." A cold, blunt voice seeps from behind the black mask, with Revenant still as an upright standing frozen corpse. A quiet, almost inaudible sigh draws out from his mask another silent moment later, with his visage now tilting to the side, away from the questioner. "If you really want to call it 'fear', you can say I 'fear' a certain unspeakable monster, and his filthy compatriots." He scoffs, as if letting such words out burns his mouth; "Though I prefer to use the term hate."

The next soul daring to be within Revenant's presence would have to endure another crimson stare down, which would go for so long until one's patience would've wore thin. Then, in a booming, commanding shout, he lays it on the next one; "Hey. Do not give me any sweet-talk on this one; What do you, hate, the most?"
Keeper (played by Petrovalyc)

But for all the looming figure’s ominous presence saturated the space, that crimson aura of wrath exuding from the Revenant seemed to have no effect at all upon this strange little sprite of a creature, who was to him as spark is to shadow, or starlight is to ruin. Rocking back and forth from heel to toe, she not only endured the molten gaze, but remained entirely oblivious to it, until that dread voice rasped through the mask and plucked her out of whatever internal world of daydream she had been exploring. The girl’s head tilted to one side, then the other, ivory eyes blinking with perplexity behind the shaggy white-blonde hair as she seemed to contemplate this new and alien concept which was called ’hate’.

Adopting a cartoonishly thoughtful posture, the being folded one arm and cupped her chin in a gloved hand, frowning with introspection. Her hips swayed idly, as if even now she could not resist indulging in the simple satisfaction of having a physical form with which to move and express herself. It was a long while before she spoke, and when she did, the gentle tenor of her voice was ponderous and measured, words picked carefully as if from a precious garden, cultivated over eons.

"I think… I used to know what that means. Or… I thought I did. But… I forgot.” A sheepish, self-deprecating smile was charming on the porcelain softness of her face. "I… forget things a lot. But, less now that I have Sev-” Realizing she was getting distracted, the girl-shaped entity shook her head as if her cluttered thoughts were physical things to be cast off. "I used to think I hated God for making monsters. And myself for becoming one. And the People for what they did… But there was a lot I didn’t know back then. I was just scared. I think… A lot of hate comes from being afraid-”

And then, with a visible chill that ran down her back, the girl’s posture stiffened as the realization of what the thing she hated most - indeed, likely the only thing this being, so grateful for her own existence, ever could truly hate. And the shadow of terror that descended over those wide eyes agreed that hate and fear must surely be one in the same.

"Void.”

She spoke the word so softly that it was barely audible, then turned fearful eyes back to the ranger, as if looking for answers, or confirmation, or kinship in this strangest answer. "I hate void.” Images of the sweep of the blade, the flashing arc of super-heated silver, the whirling smoke, the way it sliced through her, proving her to be as insubstantial as thought itself. "I… w-want to exist.” Her voice was an almost childlike whimper. Visions of dissipation, of unmaking, of teetering on the edge of total oblivion, gazing into the abyss… "I want us all to exist- everyone, even the scary people and the bad people. I want everything to exist always and forever and ever. I hate the Void. I hate hate hate hate it. It’s wrong and bad and it’s… Not. And Not is bad. Not is scary and unbeing is wrong and I hate it. That’s the thing I hate.”

And, having come to a satisfying answer, she nodded once, definitively, to herself. Regaining her composure with a fortifying breath that she didn’t actually have to take, the girl spun on a heel and turned to the next person, beaming and waving broadly.

"Hello friend! My question is… is, um….”

This took several more long moments of deliberation. At this point, the whole vibe was probably off. But eventually, the question came. Surely, it would be worth the wait, the awkwardness, all the extra words slogged through and time wasted to reach this vital, climactic point. It was time to descend into philosophical depths yet unexplored, as this most profoundly strange being posed her question, cast back from the eons to be spoken here and now, in this most momentous moment.

"What’s your favorite thing?”

She gasped.

"Is it squirrels? I love squirrels… Wait are squirrels a thing? Is life a thing? What is a thing? And what’s that white stuff inside an egg called?”
Chiharu (played by CrypticStardust)

"My favourite thing is... Friendship, I think! Squirrels are great also; I think they're a thing. Life is a thing, too... And the name of a type of cereal. Which is also a thing. Isn't everything a thing? Um... I think the stuff inside an egg is the egg."
"Hey, speaking of eggs, do you like eating eggs? If so, what's your favourite way to have them cooked?"
