Go to the character's settings and click on their pfp.

I tried that, but it always just refreshes the page.

Are you actually in the edit character settings? It's different from edit character profile.

Edit: My bad you don't wanna be there anyway I dunno what I was thinking of.

You should just need to go from your characters to edit the character and click/tap on the icon from that screen.
