Serge looked at her and grabbed her face. He lifted her head up and took off her bandages. " Don't look so bad, I've seen worse. " He turned and walked towards a room. He opened it and the young girl named Rae came out.
Rae looked at them, her emerald eyes darker. She had a harsher voice, " Who is that? "

Isobel flinched from the man's touch, pushing it away. She was having a bad sense of dejá vu. Them she heard someone come in. She faced them when she heard Rae's voice and felt a little hope blossom in her. Rae sounded different though. "Rae?"
Rae looked at the girl, puzzled. She walked towards her and looked at her. " Who are you and how do you know my name? " She said, looking at the girl. She looked down and up, seeing that she was small, hurt, and a hybrid.
"It's me, Isobel." Her bad feeling grew. Why didn't Rae recognize her? "What did you do to her?" She asked accusingly to the men. She hadn't heard them leave, so she assumed they were still there.
Rae shock her head, thinking. I've heard that name before. " These people have done nothing to me, except show me the truth. "
Serge smiled and mentioned Rae off. He walked behind her and put his hands on her arms. He leaned forward, whispering. " You know, the whole testing. Rae doesn't know anything about you. She doesn't even know who Hunter is. She knows she will try and hurt Hunter. "

Isobel felt sick to her stomach. They wiped Rae's memory. Just like her own had been, though she seemed to still remember some things. She felt herself start to shake with anger. She never wanted someone else to go through that, especially someone she cared about. For once, she couldn't think of a bold comment to make, just anger. Her staff was gone, left behind, but she still had her dagger. She takes comfort in at least having some weapon to protect her.
As the intruders escaped, Hunter found his armor and put it on. It had been repaired while he was out of it and in working condition. Outside Alyssa and the guard swept the area as others joined the search. Hunter head outside, Alyssa meeting him at the door. "No sign of anyone."
"Impossible. There's one way in and out." Hunter's voice was only barely calm under his tinted visor.
The girl shook her head. "I don't know what to tell you. They aren't here. Isobel, Rae, and whoever else was here are gone."
Hunter's suit made a strange noise as he let lose another curse, filtering the language. Someone must have turned the filter back on. He would have to fix that later. Nothing was going as it should have. They should be safe in the hospital, nobody else should have either known or cared about the two he saved, it was their job. The beta energy system reacted to his emotion and the veins in his armor started to glow brighter. "It's alright, Hunter. There has to be a way to find them."
At this time a nearby doctor decided to chime in. "If I may," he said, "patients are injected with a temporary tracking device that dissolves after they leave. That way we can keep them safe and, should they disappear, find them." Hunter looked at the man, face still hidden but green veins returning to their normal faint lighting.
"Show us." The doctor nodded and led them inside and then, with a security guard, led them to the computer room.
Sitting at a computer the doctor brought up a list of numbers and symbols. "This one right here," he pointed to a row on the list, "that is you. The coordinates are displayed here and we can bring up satellite imaging with that. It isn't state of the art besides the dissolving tracker, but it is something new we are using." The doctor continued to type in some information and then scroll down on the list before stopping on two highlighted rows. "There they are."
By the time Isobel woke up, Hunter was in the tech room of the hospital, which started to look more and more like a multipurpose building to him. Laid out on a table in front of him were several gadgets and weapons. A different "doctor" stood across from the table and told him about each one. With all the options for weapons, Hunter only traded in his assault rifle for a higher tech one. Unlike his other one, this rifle was able to be linked up with his HUD so that he could see ammo count, heat, operations, toggle tracer bullets and other system functions all without touching a button. He still kept his sword, knife, and pistol, which fired similar rounds as the new gun he carried on his back.
"We also wanted to try something new," the doc told Hunter. "You have small rocket chamber additions that we are going to put on your armor. They are lightweight and can be taken off. These have some pretty potent explosions for their size, not to mention they also connect to your HUD. The wrist rockets can be set to explode as a normal one would, with a blast radius, or it can be set to focus the blast forwards. In other words, you have a normal rocket or a bunker buster." Hunter nodded in understandment, but a cord plugged into his helmet restricted a bit of his movement. The suit let out a beep.
SYSTEM UPDATE COMPLETE
"It looks like your update is done. Congradulations, you get to test out our energy system beta update. The force system should be alot stronger, and last longer once you let go of it. If the system works correctly, there should be a way to throw it, although don't expect it to last long once in the target. Are you sure you want to do this alone?"
Hunter nodded. "They are my girl's," he said. "This is my fight."

Rae looked at Isobel, her hearing heard everything. She walked back in and smiled to Serge. " I would like to talk to this hybrid alone. " Serge nodded his head and walked out of the room. Rae looked at Isobel, walking towards her. She lifted her hand, a green aurora coming from her hands. She touched her hand to the girls arm. She felt her aurora, figuring out if maybe she had known her before.
Serge walked into a weaponary room. Reg was there. Serge leaned down and whispered to Reg. " If anything happens, just flee. Rae's already affected, will get the hybrid next. "

Isobel felt Rae touch her arm after the men left. "You really don't remember me?" She asked, her voice just above a whisper. Would Rae never remember, like Isobel never could?
Hunter was once again on his motorcycle, racing to another mission. This mission was different though. He had done many simple missions, and many complicated missions. He had fought against demons, witches, vampires, werewolves, poltergeists, all assortments of monsters, including the human kind. He had never gone in to save one of them though, especially ones he had come to care about. A morbid seriousness overcame Hunter. He knew this was a suicide mission, that is why he declined help from others. He didn't want anyone else being hurt.
As anger gave way to determination and his clouded mind became clear, he started to develop his strategy, and decided which way to kill those who angered him in the first place. He had been angry before, but not like that. But after it ebbed away, the determination was the kind that allowed man to break free of horrid situations for all of time.
"Hunter," a voice said in his speaker, it was Greg, "you're about nine clicks away from your mark. If you need assistance we can have choppers over there ASAP."
"Don't worry about me," responded Hunter, "I'm going to go kick some a**."

Rae shock her head, " I'm sorry I have no idea who you are. " She then looked at her hard and long. " Isobel? " She then tilted her head, " Is your name Isobel? " She said, slightly remembering the time she had spent with her. Rae shifted her hands slightly and closed her eyes.
Isobel nodded, relieved. There seemed to be some tiny bit of recognition in Rae's voice. "Yes, yes I am." She wished she'd thought to grab Rae's necklace, but she'd left it at the hospital.
Rae grabbed her hand and pulled it up. " Touch my hand. " She said, her emerald eyes staring at the girl. She knew she couldn't see her, but her aurora could connect to hers. She could see any spiritual connection between her or she could look at her past.
Isobel lifted her hand. She knew Rae could and probably would read her aura now, though she never really understood how she did or what she could do with it.
Rae's eyes turned light green and she placed her palm to the girls. " Your name is Isobel... You are a hybrid.. You helped save me from the hospital. " She said while she closed her own eyes.
Isobel nodded. She wondered if Rae could see things in her aura that she couldn't remember herself. She tucked the question away for later though, at a better time. "We can't stay here, we have to leave."
Rae opened her eyes and removed her hand. She let out a growl, her eyes turning normal. " Why do you say that? Serge has treated me like a princess. I am his servant " She said and turned away from her.
Isobel wanted to cover her ears. And knock some sense into Rae. A servant?? She'd never imagined Rae to be the servile kind. "Are, you've been here for a few hours, how can you know what he's really like?" Not to mention I had to fight one of his men and was dragged here unconsious.
Rae growled and walked towards her again. " Do you dare question Serge and me? " She said raised her left hand. A red aurora coming from it.
Hunter eventually reached the marker on his HUD. He was at the entrance to a cave, secluded and easily overlooked. The one give away, should one choose to go inside, was the door. Hunter walked up to the door and knocked. He knocked hard and fast and then backed away a safe distance. The backdrop of light and his black armor gave him a mysterious appearance that he was not even trying for. As soon as any movement was seen from the door, should it open, or some sort of piece move so one can see, he would fire a rocket from his already poised wrist. The blast, spherical or concentrated, would be set depending on if he had to blast through something, or he had an open shot. As he would fire the middle he was tell them, "Pizza delivery." He knew someone had to answer, because leaving things be was a security risk no trained man would take.
