I feel a strange kindred notion in our tales, I believe individuals such as us neither damned nor sanctified serve a distinct purpose in the order of things, holding the middle ground as it were. I would be honored to do battle by Cassiel's side and perhaps we could share in each others wisdom and leave each other better for it.

Jasmine dragged her eyes over to the man. He was a warrior, someone deemed impressive, and she’d be a fool to think otherwise. And maybe he could be someone useful to her in the future? Someone to break her free from her shackles? The thought was fleeting before she took in his appearance. A rugged man with many scars, and many stories, and some part of her itched to hear about them. It would be rude to ask, a princess never asked questions like that, but she wanted to. Curiosity got the better of her.

“I can see you have fought many battles, external and internal,” she smiled sweetly, her voice lithe and gentle. “I’d love to befriend a soul like you. Tell me, sir, would you share some of your stories? I’m quite interested.”

Wagging his tail, hence would sit in front of the woman with his ears down. He offered her his paw.

Valeriu was always fond of animals, able to communicate them and understand their body language with ease. Many of Vali's friends are animals, and canines were among the most loyal, so, friend! He allows the malinois to sniff at his hands before tentatively scratching the top of his head and behind the dog's perked up ears.

"I can't say that I would date you, but I could possibly make an acquaintance out of you and we could become FRIENDS."

Hoshiko tilted her head, observing the woman in front of her for a moment before smiling wide.

“𝕐𝕠𝕦'𝕣𝕖 𝕓𝕖𝕒𝕦𝕥𝕚𝕗𝕦𝕝 𝕕𝕖𝕒𝕣, 𝕓𝕦𝕥 𝕦𝕟𝕗𝕠𝕣𝕥𝕦𝕟𝕒𝕥𝕖𝕝𝕪 𝕟𝕠𝕥 𝕞𝕪 𝕥𝕪𝕡𝕖, 𝕨𝕖 𝕔𝕒𝕟 𝕤𝕥𝕚𝕝𝕝 𝕓𝕖 𝕗𝕣𝕚𝕖𝕟𝕕𝕤 𝕥𝕙𝕠𝕦𝕘𝕙!”

“Ohhh, you would be an interesting person to be friends with!”

"Something tells me we'd clash too much to date, but I don't wish any I'll on you, so I will pass but with regret"

“I see what you mean. I too pass.”

"Pass. Not sure we'd get along."

The vampire looked up from the glass of red wine he had been toying with for over an hour now, just waiting for something to happen. It was then he noticed a familiar face. The smile that bloomed on his lips was the most honest smile he had offered to anyone that night.

He rose from his seat and approached the face he hadn't seen in a stretch. "I missed you."

Date. Old flames can rekindle.

*Katraj flicked out his naga tongue* "friends....or pass not sure since I tend to slow humans down being a snake"

"I'm never seen one such as yourself before. Still, it's a pass for me."

"You are a beautiful woman, but I am positive you are not my type. I wouldn't mind being FRIENDS, though. Pleasure to make your acquaintance."

The witch tapped her lip for a moment as she thought and thought it over again. Finally, after a long time she decided on something. "Definitely... Friend! I think everyone needs more of those." She seemed happy with the announcement before the woman vanished into the night.

"I think you would be a worthy friend Bianca!"

"For someone as attractive as you, definitely would date"

"I wouldn't mind another friend, if I'm being honest." Said the witch with a friendly smile.

"I don't want nuthin' to do with any witches. That's temptin' the devil. Pass."
