"Oh!" She turns back to see you sketching her. "Care to help me cook? Also, please don't keep that."
"no one, not even my sister sees this"
"Just... throw it away. Maybe burn it. Please." Her voice seems tired, as if she's had to do this many times before.
she looks down, looking as if you just asked her to murder her own dog
"It's... It's for your own good, okay?" That part sounds true.
"but my life's work has been drawing and writing notes in this book"
"Let me make you a deal, okay? Draw nobody that lives in this house, and I'll give you the answers to any of the secrets you have uncovered so far unless I seem it necessary to keep it a secret."
"can i keep the unfinished drawing of siren?"
"Yes, as long as no one sees it."
she nods and smiles
"Not while we're here, anyways."
she nods
"Anything else?"
"how are you and siren related?"
"Again, I guess you could call us family members."
