Moriah sighed when she heard that. She changed clothes into a pair of shorts and a baggy shirt then crawled in to bed.

She woke up the next morning. She changed into her usual dark clothing and grabbed her backpack. She went into the living room and saw Dale passed out on the couch still. She grabbed herself a quick breakfast, she smiled at seeing Dale so peaceful while he slept. She gently kissed his forehead then left, locking the door behind her and headed to school.

Barbie woke up at around 12, thinking for a bit. He grabbed a coke, guzzling it all in one drink, then walked around. Nothing, really. He switched to his Pink Floyd shirt, grabbed his headphones, and walked outside. He found his car, and got in it. He plugged his iPod in, and began playing The Wall. He drove to her school, stopping outside of the bounds, listening to the music. He smiled, and laid back in his chair.

Moriah was one of the students who were allowed to leave school early at one for work. She always stopped at home to get something to eat before heading over to the restaurant she worked at, Hooters. It paid pretty well, even though she had to wear such a horrible outfit that showed too much. All the girls that work there had to have at least a cup size of D and Moriah was an F, it was a big reason why she wore so much black. She stepped outside to see Dale in a car outside her school. She walked up to the car and opened the passenger door. "What are you doing here?" She asked as she stepped in the car.

"I was strolling around, and apparently, I'm here to send you to wherever you damn well please. Well then, get on with it! Yes! Where'd you want to go!" Barbie asked, and chuckled. He clicked his tongue, imitating a cab clicker. "Times starting! State your destination, please?"

Moriah rolled her eyes. "Let's just get back to the apartment. I have to fix some lunch then head over to work." She said, throwing her backpack in the backseat. "I also needed to change clothes, my job requires a certain uniform." She said with a sigh. She looked over at Dale and smiled, still showing her good and happy personality. "My best guess is that you just woke up and decided to be nice and pick up from school, correct?" She asked.

"Dammit, you had no coffee, so I was going to get some, when I noticed your school. So, in a way, yeah," Dale said, and backed the convertible up. He drove back to her house, waiting outside, still playing his music.

"Are you not going to come in?" Moriah asked when they pulled up to the apartment and he seemed to be just waiting outside. Fixing lunch for herself would be quick and so would be changing her clothes for work, but that doesn't mean he has to wait outside.

"Aww, what the hell. Lemme turn off this car!" Barbie said, and shut off the ignition, and hopped out of the front seat. He came up to the door, and walked in, leaning against the wall.

Moriah grabbed her backpack and left the car, then went inside the house. "What do you want for lunch?" She asked, setting her backpack in her room and walking to the kitchen. She had already laid out her uniform for Hooters on her bed so she could quickly change clothes.

"Me? I'll just go to the nearest restaurant to eat. I got a lot of money with me, and I'm feeling up to something good. Probably a burger, a beer, and something nice," Barbie said, scratching his neck. He was leaning against the wall, bopping his foot.

Moriah nodded. "Alright, suit yourself." She said, starting to fix herself some lunch. She made it quick too, she wanted to get to work early. She then got dressed and put her short, black leather jacket on. She stepped out of her room, wearing her orange shorts and tight, white shirt with a half O neckline. "I'm ready, let's go. I work down at the nearby Hooters." She explained, her back to Dale while she locked her room door. She didn't want anyone, even Dale, going into her room.

"Oh my god, you work at Hooters? Awesome! Can I get something there, Moriah? Please?" Barbie asked, watching her move. He got in front of the door, blocking her from getting out. He wanted something, and he wanted her to get it for him. He smiled, chuckling at the idea.

Moriah crossed her arms over her chest, the look on her face answered his question. "Oh, no you are not. I do not want you embarrassing me in front of my boss." She said, walking to the front door, but was not happy when Dale blocked it. "Oh goodness, Dale. Don't do this. I have bills to pay and I have to go to my job. This is NOT funny." This is one of the few times that Moriah was serious, she needed to go to work and if she didn't go, Dale was going to be in trouble, and messing with one of the strongest witches alive isn't the best idea. "I can turn you into a frog right now if you don't move, Dale."

"Moriah, I have a pension you can use. I have a rather large pension, and a couple of them," Barbie said, but he still moved out of the way. He didn't want to embarrass her, and he thought twice of going to Hooters and embarrassing her in front of her boss. That wouldn't be nice. He sat down on the couch. "Sorry, Moriah. You can go. That was mean of me,"

Under his breath, he did decide to quote a Monty Python line. "She turned me into a newt once... I got better," and it made him feel a little better, and laughed.

Moriah sighed. "I don't care. This is my apartment and I would like to be able to pay for it myself. It isn't easy to get a job that pay wells enough to be able to keep this apartment that hires girls at the age of 16. This is the best I can get until I turn eighteen and get into college." She said with a sigh, and was glad when he moved out of the way. "Thank you." She then gently kissed him on the cheek. "I'll be back around ten, don't destroy the house or let anyone who looks suspicious. Also, here." She said, tossing what looked like the piece of a Ojia broad. "I know what it looks like, and it is, but the broad is the part that is cursed, this part will allow you to see if someone isn't human and is up to no good." She said, walking back over to the front door and left, locking it behind her. She then headed towards Hooters.

"Okay, Moriah. If you need any money, ask me. I'll be more than happy to help. I'll see you after work, okay? Call me if you want a ride. And thanks for the kiss," Barbie said, and fell asleep on the couch. He had the board piece on the table next to him, but he didn't look at it, really. He didn't care if there was someone on there, he just kept it there, and didn't notice anything.

Moriah was already at her job, not liking it at all, but she went to it anyways. Time flew by, of course she did get harassed by some of the drunken customers. But she was glad to be leaving once everyone was gone. She grabbed her jacket and purse and decided to call Dale up for a ride, it was getting dark and she knew anything could happen if she walked home. She dialed his number and put the phone to her ear, waiting for him to answer.

Barbie got up fast, and picked up his phone. He was a little confused as to how she got the number, but didn't really care. It was Moriah who was speaking. He got up, and went to his car, turning on the engine. He knew she was calling because of that, but he wanted to make small talk. "Hey, Moriah! Wassup?"

Moriah was about to hang up after she told Dale that she needed a ride until she heard him speak again. "Just outside the restaurant, I just got off a couple minutes ago. Good thing all the costumers are gone, quite a few were pretty drunk, tried some stuff on me and the other waitress. How long is it going to take you to get here?" She asked, leaning against a wall.

"Maybe five minutes, or so. Don't try anything stupid with the guys, okay? I don't want you raped," Barbie said, and he got on the road, trying to move fast. If there was drunk guys there, they might be still around. Good thing he would try to help her if they did anything dumb.
