Moriah rolled her eyes. "Don't worry, I don't really feel like getting raped tonight." She said, keeping her eyes out. She could protect herself just fine, and if they mess with her, she can use her magic because they were too drunk to remember it in the morning.

"That's good, because I don't feel like shooting someone tonight," Barbie said, and he hung up. Because he was right there. He opened the passenger door, and motioned for her to get in. As he did, the gun in his left chest pocket began to slide, and fell onto the seat. He picked it up as she sat down.

Moriah closed her phone once Dale hung up and then got into the car. "Thanks for the ride." She said, not really noticing the gun. She threw her jacket and her purse in the backseat. "Sometimes I wish my boos would try to defend the waitresses here." She said with a sigh, sitting back against the seat.

"No problem, Moriah. I'll give you a ride any time," Barbie said, and put the gun back in his chest holster. He was glad she didn't see that. He always kept the .45 with him, because it was his gun from the Army. He was a Colonel from it. "I wish they would. I think that's illegal,"

Moriah shrugged. "Doesn't matter. Once I finish high school, I will quit the job and start working around the college I will be going to." She said. She didn't care if he had a gun, she kept a knife in her combat boots at all time when she was outside of her house and had .22 pistol in her nightstand drawer.

"Need help paying for that college?" Barbie asked, pulling out, and driving away. He was always careful, but didn't realize that she kept such weapons with her. He always did, but that was his military training screwing with his mind.

"You are not paying for a one thing for me. I will pay for my college, I have been saving up money for it since I was eleven." She said with a shrug, looking out the window. "Why do you keep offering to help me pay for something? You just met me yesterday."

"Because I am a nice person who tends to care for people, and because you need help, and you helped me. So, that's why. Also, I have no damned idea what to do with this money," Barbie said, and turned off the car once they got back to the house.

Moriah grabbed her jacket and purse then got out of the car. "I don't need any help. I don't really feel comfortable you paying for me on something so big as my rent and college funds, when I don't really have anything to give in return." She said, going to the front door and going inside.

"Do I look like I want something in return? I have all that I need with me. I'd gladly give you the money, because what would I use it for except beer, cigarettes, and medical bills?" Barbie asked, and walked inside, plopping down on the couch. So far, it was his favorite place to crash.

"I really don't care. It isn't money that I earned through hard work so I won't use it." Moriah was a very stubborn girl, she would never take his money unless she had earned it in some way. She believed in hard work and earning a life for herself. She had worked hard and on her own since she was thirteen, never taking hand outs, even when she needed them most.

"Fine, suit yourself. If you need it, which you will, tell me. Oh, if you can, you could try the military colleges. They are free, but they have a low acceptance rate. I, myself went to West Point," Barbie said, and stretched out, sighing. He felt like a bum looking for someplace to stay, which was probably true.

"I already picked out a art school I want to go to. Its called SSAD, or Savannah School of Art and Design. It is down in Georgia, so I will have to use the school dorms there. Would you like something to eat?" She asked, setting her purse and jacket in her room and going back to the kitchen to fix some dinner.

"Awesome. I'd suggest one of the military schools, but that's because I went to them before. I hope it's fun for you. Do you like art that much?" Barbie asked, and then thought about what to eat. He was really hungry, and had been since the morning. "Sure. Whatever you want to make, I'm fine with,"

Moriah rolled her eyes. "I have a rebellious soul, military school isn't the best place for a witch. I love art and hope to become a art teacher at the local high school." She said, looking through the fridge. "Alright. I'll just fry up some chicken." She said, pulling out the chicken. She set it in the microwave to defrost and then started preparing the vegetable oil to fry up the chicken and fries with.

"Fine, suit yourself. I think it would be fun, but that's okay. Thanks for the place to stay, and the food," Barbie said, and got up, walking into the kitchen to smell the food. It was good, and he enjoyed watching people cook.

"Eh. If you think about it, try putting a girl who is rebelling against her mother and her whole clan's purpose in a military school and it will surely bring on a new hell. Its no problem, I rather like to have company here, it feels really lonely here with just by myself. My friends have there own lives and I don't really care to have any of them as roommates, doubt they are very reliable." She said with a shrug. Pulling the chicken out of the microwave, it was two chicken breasts and three legs, they were normal size for chickens, meaning they weren't feed in steroids or anything like that, Moriah made sure of that. She watched what she put in her body, she liked to make sure to be healthy and fit.

"Oh. Well, I see how it is. Be that way then. But thanks. I'm glad to have company for once in my life. Its much more fun than walking around alone and with no one to be with," Barbie said, and looked around. Nice chicken, nice food, nice whatever else she had with her. And she probably had a lot of that.

Moriah nodded. "Its better to have someone around, friend or not, just to have someone with you to talk with." She said, making the breading for the chicken, then fixing the chicken in it. It didn't take long, she then put the chicken in the grease, frying it.

"I know that feeling exactly. Its always fun to talk to people I know. I like talking to you, Moriah. Its fun," Barbie opened the fridge and got something to drink from it, and drank it. Then he turned back to Moriah. "Hey, you do this a lot? You seem like you know how to do this,"
