"well, I got my greenhouse set up on the base with my babbies" Lemon's eyes dart around and she takes a step closer "I have been working on some poisons" She pulls the vials out of her jacket "These are my latest projects, the purple can eat threw any metal, the green is a truth serum, red eats people and the blue is my healing mix. That's what you just took" She grabs Hans hand "Takes these but just for you I herd there are some spies in the high ranks and my work can't get out" Lemon looks around again at the people nearby. "I also heard the head of my department talking to someone on the phone when I was leaving his office about an underground railroad being used by the Americans, I'm not sure what that means" she squeezes his hand a bit harder "Trust no one, do you understand?" her eyes are darting and she seems on edge. "What about you, what have you been getting into its been 3 months"

“Well darling.. we officially took Times Square... we’ve set up recon snipers in over 30 skyscrapers and we plan to take the Empire State Building in about 3 days...” Hans tugged at his collar as he put the viler in his pocket “sooo got any plans tonight?” He asked a bit more monotone than he meant for it to be...

Lemon Claps her hands at the news of the taking Times Square she always adored the lights. "Well, I was planning on once we got back to camp that maybe I'd grab some dinner and eat in the greenhouse... would you..." She lets her sentence trail off a bit as she looks away a bit and her cheeks flush

“Uhhh sure I suppose... what time should I head back I’ve gotta get some grunt work done first...” he scratched the back of his head flirting and conversation in general werent exactly his strong suit...

"That's fine, I can go help in the medical area until you are ready and we can take a jeep back just find me" She softy smiles at Hans and quickly bolts off toward the medical area plunging herself into work

A few hours went by and Hans walked to Lemonmay’s office and knocked on the door he sadly had to bring his guards with him though one of whom was Karl but he hoped she would understand...

As Lemon opened her door she saw the guards flanking Hans she let out a slight sigh, She was a bit melancholy about the guards but she knew given his rank and the recent events it was necessary. She softly smiled "well let's go, my assistant, said they would have dinner ready in the greenhouse for us" When Lemon was in her greenhouse it was the only place she wasn't being judged by the german officers for being from America and not full German like them and the war melted away. But over that last 2 years since he showed up on their family compound asking for her grandmother's help, Hans has always treatedLemon with the same respect as any German-born soldier. Lemon leans into Hans "This is where you are supposed to hold my hand" Lemon hears the guards softly snicker in the background

“Oh yeah... forgot...” hans held her hand and blushed deeply even though the other guards snickered Karl simply looked ahead... he saw no need for such a thing as a ‘date’ but his orders were to guard Hans and not to judge him... “soo umm what’s for dinner?” Hans asked trying to get his mind off the fact he was horrible at this...

Lemon's cheeks were burning feeling Hans hand in hers " Chilli and homemade rolls, I thought it would be nice to have something simple and warm after everything tonight" Lemon looks up watching the sun start to creep into the ski "Look it's almost morning"

“Oh I do suppose I took a bit too long...” he walked up to the door of the greenhouse and opened the door for her

As Lemon walked into the greenhouse in the middle there was her work area was and a small table set up with covered dishes. Lemon stopped and darted her eyes at the guards "I think he will be fine if you all just stay by the door" Lemon locked her pleading eyes with Hans hoping he would indulge her just a bit.

“Stay here...” hans walked in with her and sat down at the table with her “I never noticed how beautiful your... ummmm eyes are....” again his lack of an ability to flirt showed....

"Thank you" Lemon twist her hand and uncovers her dish "Well, we are lucky to have this yummy beef tonight arent we, I herd the rations are getting tighter but are worse for the Americans" Lemon takes a bite of chili then uses a napkin to dap at her mouth. lemon starts to yell at herself why did she just bring up such a silly topic. However, she waited for Hans answer.

“Yeah the luftwaffe has increased their bombing runs on them... but let’s discuss is shall we? I mean the war is out there and we’re here together...” hans grabbed her hand across the table and he hoped he was doing this right he had found an old book on flirting and dating for dummies and he had read it hoping to get some tips before the date...

Within the underground subway through one of the sewer lines, there is a large hollowed-out section full of members of the steel legion and many citizens who didn't get evacuated in time walking around, talking, guarding certain area like the main entrance to the underground hidden town. Janus in the large building in the center which was known HQ. He was busy in the comm center monitoring german communications and listening when a man coming whispered in his ear and he was then lead to the war room. In the war room was a center table with a large map of new york city sitting, unmoved by the events outside with pieces representing "The Steel Legion, The Wehrmacht, and The US Military." When he came he found 3 people there, The Scout and Recon Captain Anderson including The Colonel of the Legion codenamed NOVAC and The Communication officer, Tito. It was then The Scout and Recon Captain spoke, "Sir, My scouts have found a recent shift in the germans formations" He then turned to The color of the Wehrmacht and placed the figures in areas around the city. "We have their information that their main army group will be marching of The Empire state building soon but we don't when they will." It was then the communications officer who spoke next, " My Men and I were able to pick up radio traffic in these buildings involving many different sniper teams." As he pointed to many different skyscrapers, "If we don't take them out, not only will of boys be sittin ducks but our movements will be found."

As Janus and pondered what to do his mind suddenly clicked, He then spoke, "Novac I want you to take your fast tanks and harass the german battle group and dwindle them down and attack sporadically." "He then pointed to Recon and Scouts Captain, "As NOVAC is busy their sniper teams will be busy to spot them... I want you to take your sniper and marksmen teams and take them out as they are distracted and take their positions and use it to your advantage." He then looked to the communications officer "I want you to get contact with the artillery company and fire on the positions those two will say and get in contact with the cell "Elysian Air Raiders" were going to need aerial support. We will do this attack as soon as possible, so, dismissed." Then all three officers saluted and went off to do duty and Janus then looked at the map with fiery fervor of his plan.

As the day wore on Hans finally opened up and it would have been a perfect date except for the war ranging only a few miles away. But as the date ended and Hans was being summed She followed as he stood. She quickly grabbed his hand they were mere inches apart "This was fun but I know you leave again in the morning" as she look up at him her eyes are wide and look innocent "Please I gave you those viles to protect yourself but no one can no of my work, the high ups will just use me and worse I've heard of the Americans kidnapping scientist" She stepped closer pressing herself into him a bit.

Karl left hans and the girl in the capable hands of the rest of Hans’ personal guards though Karl was only the equivalent of a sergeant he was treated as the second in command to the captain... he went to the hanger and inspected their vehicles... the main force consisted of: 50 leopard 2 tanks, 80 puma Infantry fighting vehicles, 20 Boxer APC’s and 15 armored half track transports... and of course this was only the combat units in Hans army group which was originally only a battalion but their size increased.. approximately 8 german army groups where in New York State... 2 of which were in New York City...

“I understand...” he kissed her passionately and then left in a hurry out the door cheeks blood red with blush his guards followed him as he headed down to the hanger to meet Karl...

Lemon made her way back to her office in the main building she felt like she was on cloud nine. She was quickly snapped back into reality as she heard the yelling of a platoon sergeant getting his men into formation. The base was in full mayhem as they prepare for a new strike or movement. As Lemon unlocks the door to her office, she thought she heard someone following her but she looks around and sees nothing. She questions if she is just feeling paranoid or if there was someone. Finally, she gets into her office and pulls out her small journal with all her work notes and formulas in, she scribbles a few notes before making her way to a small cot to get some sleep since she was up the night before. She has some tests she must be at in an hour they want to test her new gas on some POWs, it supposed to kill in half the time with half the mess to the internal organs of the current gas they use.

NOVAC was transported in the subway by truck into the main underground hanger where they deploy the vehicles from above. He went over the list in his hands of what they have currently weren't in construction or being repaired. The list said they had around 30 M1 Abrams and oddly enough 5 Challenger 2s from the troops of the British Government in Exile when they abandon the tanks. 75 M2 Bradleys IFV, 50 M113 APCs, and 10 LAV-25 Armored Reconnaissance Vehicle but those were only used by the "Scout and Recon Division." They had around 500 members in the tank corps with more people finding them and joining. Not counting the whole operation including the air raiders cell.
