She scoots out the way as Maki in her joyful state rolls through the town in similar manner to a spindash, in other words she destroyed a large part of the town

shade was seen giving sniper fire to cover his troops leading them into battle

She really didnt have to do much other than remove the larger weapons by makinf them lightly than air and just tossing them
