"Azumi, I need you to speak with Mathius because as of this moment, he has quit and refuses to return. If anyone could change his mind, it's you. You have her to thank"
He pointed at Jinx

She was angrily scrubbing the floors THAT SHE JUST CLEANED muttering curses and other vile things under her breath

"dear? Where's your brother" she wove flows of air and water and fire to help poor merith clean

"I think he went back to the temple. Jinx blew up something and ruined half of the chairs and tables. Andrew over there on the couch replaced all of the chairs and tables. Mathius just quit and walked out, so if Peppino isn't here, we can't serve food"

"And I think she blew up the table I was sleeping on..." Nolegs would then say.

"In that case, I don't think I want her back in here. I'll talk to Zero about it and see what he wants to do"

He walked in and went straight back to the kitchen. The blue glow coming out of his eyes seemed darker, and his demeanor was, as opposed to his usually welcoming and friendly self, was icy and detached. He started his opening duties without a word.

Jinx came back to the bar, casually cradling one of her chompers like a fidget toy, humming to the tune of 'Vi is a Stupid Fathead', a tune she’d only just made up.
It looked as if she might would throw the chomper, but she didn't, thankfully.

Instead, she stood by the door, seeming to be waiting for someone.

Isha came waddling in and wrapped her arms around Jinx's leg with a happy grunt, then nudged her head onto Jinx's leg with a smile.

Jinx smiled and patted her helmet, then looked to the kitchen. She took a deep breath, clipped her chomper to one of her many belt, then cupped her hands around her mouth and shouted loudly. "HEY STRANGE GUY, I'M SORRY FOR, LIKE, BLOWING UP YOUR TABLE AND CHAIRS AND STUFF!!"

"if i was not taking a nap which i am, i'd bite the nearest person next to me."

Fumizuki emerges from the kitchen, having finished baking some shortbread chocolate chip cookies.

"Hey, not to mention, you blew up the table that I was sleeping on too." Nolegs would casually say as if getting blown up wasn't a big deal.

Jinx glanced over to Nolegs, in no ways surprised a cat was talking to her. "Oh, well sorry to you too, I guess." Jinx tilted her head to the side and shrugged.

He remained silent as he just kept preparing orders.

Jinx waited for a response from Mathius, didn't get one, and pursed her lips with a soft hmm.

"Okay, so, I didn't get a response but I'm going to assume he heard me." Jinx snickered and then knelt down, scooping up Isha into her arms. "Let's go get you a snack, mama's tiny shark baby." Jinx pushed away Isha's brown bangs and smacked a soft, quick kiss onto Isha's forehead. Then she walked to the counter and rang the bell in attempts of getting someone to serve her and Isha.

Isha giggled warmly at the kiss on her forehead and cuddled up in Jinx's arms, holding onto one of Jinx's long, blue braids.

A mop and bucket wheeled out to her and hit her in the leg. A note around the mop handle read "prove it. Mop the bathrooms. Then it will be water under the bridge. I also wouldn't talk about someone being funny-looking or strange-looking."

Isha noticed and pointed at it with a soft grunt, trying to get Jinx to notice it.

"Would you like me to help?" Azumi said adorably. Her puppy eyes even cuter than before.

She was not alone in this endeavor of course, her son, Ren, who was understandably annoyed at the prospect of doing more chores, followed her to the bar to cheer Mathius up.
