"You mean that heart?" Xueqing tilted her head, "Well, it's my soul."

The same thing floated out of her chest again. A heart-shaped pink soft thing that has magenta as its outline, - and it glowed. Some short pink strings were twirling around it.

It moved to John, but then dimmed down a bit, backed down a few centimeters and shook slightly for a little while. Nervousness was again visible on Xueqing's face as she looked aside before taking her own soul back, lightly holding it in her right hand (she held it lightly as not to cause herself uncomfort).
Lucien (played by Girfactor)

A demonic entity showed up temporarily as his white hair shimmer in the dim lit tavern. His golden eyes glowed as he stared at Xue before he faded from this reality as he said, "We will meet again real soon..."
"Ooh, spooky!" But this sort of stuff doesn't seem to bother Chen, I mean people with horns and the like are...common to her. Even she has horns and a tail!

“John is just much, much too overprotective of me. That’s all.” She shook her head. “Thinks I’m going to botch a surgery and die or something. Or that I will under your watch, I suppose? As if that’s happened before. I’d like to think I know what I’m doing.”

“Surely you’ve dealt with his like before. Witchhunter types. Inquisitors, I believe you called him. A lot of zeal put to less than efficient use.” Esme laughed. “He made a better lab assistant.”

"Correct, I have dealt with representatives of the Inquisition's Holy Ordos in the past, but in that instance the Inquisitor wished for me to aid him due to the fact that I am one of the few remaining Magi who still has knowledge of the long forgotten art of Cybertheurgy. Additionally, should you care for this information, the failure rate for cybernetic implantations within the Cult Mechanicus is zero."
"In simpler terms?"
