He came in and took a seat and stretched his legs out.

He came back to the commotion of the tavern as he scratched his head. "Anything anyone wants before I disappear again?" he asked as he eyed everyone in the room. It was as though some more than others were having fun. And he didn't mind the fun as long as it didn't involve violence. He would let Drael deal with the fun of kicking people out permanently. "One last call!" he said as he eyed everyone in the tavern.

"I have no problem so far." Maomao said, as she was holding Jeff the Land Shark in her hands. She did not even care what over were doing near her.

"No one? You know where I will be found," Blaze said as he disappeared to the back again. He could hear anything when someone wanted a drink. At that point, he will get them what they need without fail.

Anya pushed the door open to the bar, her eyes widened as she took in the new, unfamiliar sight.

"Oh?" She murmured thoughtfully, slowly closing the door behind her. "This is a new place..."

A bar? And what diverse patrons! It was an uncommon sight to see so many Wanderers in the same place at the same time, but... it doesn't feel like she's in the Inbetween now, does it? She would know. She practically had memorized every Branch there was; every exit, every entrance. This place, though, was not in the list. It was either a new Branch, or she's outside. The thought made her lit up with excitement. She considered making her entrance known, but, in the off chance that this place was an uncharted Branch and that by doing so she would potentially alert a certain someone, she decided not to. Juuuuuuuust to be safe.

With her hands clasped behind her back, Anya walked through the bar, her eyes surveyed her surroundings. Eyeing an empty stool at the bar, assuming there was- if there wasn't any, though, she could just conjure up

"Hellooo~! Anyone heeere?" She called out to grab the barkeep's attention, waving her hand out while waving it wildly.

Blaze heard someone walk in and close the door behind them as he peeped out of the back to see who it was. It looked like a girl of a certain age as he walked back to the counter. "I am here. Who are you?" he asked as he grabbed a rag and started to clean the table with precision. "Need anything?" he asked as he was about to walk back to the back, but no one answered.

For him, his main job was to serve drinks to the occupants of the tavern, as he would do most frequently. He stood there with a smile as he casually awaited her response to a drink.

Maomao perked up, noticing Anya entering the bar. She was loud enough to get her attention.

"Need something, MaoMao?" he asked as he stood there cleaning a glass cup. "Just let me know right now."

Anya blinked, looked to her left and right, then back to the man as she pointed at herself. Obviously, she knew he was referring to her, but it felt a little jarring to meet someone who doesn't know her. Though it was relieving. Perhaps this place wasn't a Branch in the Inbetween, after all.

"Me?" A grin broke out on her face as she took off her top hat and curtsied with playful grace, then straightened back up again. "Well! Names are funny things, aren't they? I'll save you the guessing." She paused, then snickered to herself. "Kidding~ Name's Ace of Spades. Ace, for short. And who are you, my good sir?"

She hummed as she thought to herself, tapping her chin. "Hmm... got any bourbon in stock?"

"Nice to meet you, Ace," he said as he looked at her casually. "My name is Blaze. The bartender of the place. Anything you desire?" he asked her. When she said bourbon, he smiled as he leaned down and got a good bottle of bourbon and a crystal cup. "Here we are," he said as he walked to her and put both down in front of her. He did the first pour as he didn't make even a spill.

"Anything else, just ask me, okay?" he said as he went back to cleaning something. "It's the least I could do for a newcomer here. This place definitely has interesting occupants. Some more unsavory than others," he told her as he looked at her with a smile on his face. He noticed her grin. This reminded him of his good years of being what he was. But he didn't miss most of it. Being redeemed was what he loved the most.

"Not now at the moment, I am just chilling." Maomao said. "But I will let you know."

"A pleasure to meet you as well, Blaze!" Anya said, tilting her head to the side. As the man poured her drink into the cup, she leaned forward and rested her elbows on the table, watching him pour without a drop with wide eyes.

"Will keep that in mind. Thank you!" Anya replied with a smile and a wink, taking a sip of her cup as she leaned over her shoulder to watch the other customers of the bar. Despite being told about some unpleasant people, it doesn't seem like it would stop her from interacting with them. "Mm. Speaking of which... where exactly are we? Never saw this place before."

Sue leans over her fried chicken picking out little pieces and eating em slowly

"You're welcome!" he said as he winked back at her. He might seem harmless, but she didn't know this. He thought a moment at the question as he responded with, "It's Trixie's tavern, and we are kind of in-between different universes." He stood there hoping that was enough information for her to take in.

Xueqing has finished like two thirds, and she was still going strong. Well, look whose belly was too empty!

"Hey, Xueqing. How's the training going?" he asked as he stood there with a smile on his face.

Maomao looked at Anya, and despite her a bit antisocial nature, she decided to try interacting with her.

"Hey."

"It's going fine, I think. Well," The pale girl (Ablaze Xueqing) scratched her head while still having the chicken, "I couldn't believe she gave me the flamethrower option. I can't be trusted with it, seriously... so I just went for the gun. Easier to use and will not accidentally burn down stuff."

"Sounds like her!" he said as he could only shake his head in response. "Best you picked the gun instead of something that would burn down a place?" He thought again as he said, "Did you receive your power suit yet?" He went back to cleaning as he stared at her with a slight grin on his face.
