"Well, not yet." Ablaze Xueqing shrugged. "That's a later thing."

"For now I'm just taking a break here, hehe."

"Sounds good!" he said as he looked at her with a gentle smile. If she only knew his rough past, she would think differently of him. "Best to get rest," he said as he sat down for a moment.

"In-between different universes?" Anya repeated, drumming her fingers on the surface of the table as she took another sip. "How interesting! And here I thought the Inbetween was the only realm in-between different worlds!" She snickered at her own joke. "Pleasant to know I was wrong. This way, I could spend my time here and take a break once in a while."

Ace immediately perked up, turning around in one smooth motion to face the source of the voice.

"Whomst has hath called upon me?!" She spoke, rather boisterous, then she locked eyes with the snake woman and pointed a finger at her. "YOU."

"Hello, hello~!" Anya waved her hand eagerly at her, grinning brightly. "Name's Ace, pleasure to meet you!" Her eyes looked over Maomao, noticing her unique 'scales'. "What lovely scales you have there! May I have your name?"

"Looks like it! No worries for anything. You are safe here. This is a safe haven for all," Blaze said as he clapped his hands with some excitement. "So what brings you here?" Blaze asked as he watched her drink her bourbon. "To your liking, I hope?"

Apollo had an armful of dirty dishes and utensils he was carrying back to the dish pit, but someone who felt vaguely familiar caught his gaze.

His attention lingered on ace for a moment, before shrugging and continuing his way. Must be his mind playing tricks on him, there was no way he’d forget such a distinct looking person.

"My name is Maomao, nice to meet you." Maomao said, introducing herself. "And those what look like scales are actually leaves." she explains.

"Welcome to Trixie's tavern?" he questioned the man who had just arrived in the tavern. "Need anything just ask me," he said as he stood there waiting for more orders.

"I would like to have some water." Maomao told Blaze.

* max would be in the back of the bar in front of the stove making a stack of pancakes for a dollar for anyone who wanted one there blue berry chocolate and some with peanut butter on them he would then shortly walk out and display the panacea on the bar table and layed out forks and plates for anyone *

Max: come get some fresh pancakes dollar for one each seconds are free * he said as he would take out the cooking apron he had on and wipe his forehead with it before putting it on a hanger *

Blaze got a cup and poured fresh water into it and went to Maomao with the cup as he placed it in front of her.

"Pancakes?" he asked as he looked at Max's pancakes. He gave him 5 dollars for 5 pancakes. He took a fork and a plate and started to plate it and went to the back to eat it.

"Me? Mmm..." Anya looked over her shoulder to Blaze and tapped her chin in a mock thinking pose. "Just wandering around the realm where I'm from. Doing errands, here and there, trying to avoid a certain knightly guy... the usual. Saw funny looking and, well," she gestured at herself. "Here I am~"

"Leaves?" Anya raised her eyebrows, leaning forward to get a good look at her scales. "My, my, that is very unique! Do you perhaps photosynthesize?"

Apollo stopped to look at blaze.
“Uh- thanks, but I work here. Thats why I’m gathering dishes…”

He kind of just, awkwardly stared, before finally disappearing into the kitchen.

"Sounds horrible," he said to Ace as he turned around the corner to speak to her. He looked at Apollo and had a blush on his face. "Oops! But the pancakes are good," he said as he disappeared again.

"Horrible? Mm, perhaps." Ace snickered to herself, placing a gloved hand over her mouth. Well, she supposed being tailed around by a 7 and a half feet tall knight-like person does sound horrible. With or without the context of the situation. "It's more overbearing than anything, honestly. Nothing I can't handle~"

Her eyes glanced over briefly at the long-eared man, Apollo, and tilted her head slightly. It's probably nothing. She would know if she knew him. Or maybe it's multiverse stuff, alternate versions, yada yada... unlike dear ol' Jester, she doesn't have the ability to snoop into her alternate self's memories. Pity. It'd be so much more fun if she could.

"Trixie's tavern, hmm..." She mused lightly to herself. "I wonder how this place came to be... Say, pray tell, how often do customers come here? Are there days where this tavern is full?"

Hearing her snicker made him stare around the corner with food in his mouth. "I am sure you can take care of yourself," he said with a grin on his face as he nodded to her. "Back to the back for me. Holler if you need anything!" Blaze said as he disappeared once more.

He looked at Urich from out of the corner of his eyes as he appeared again as he listened to the story. "Well, I had a bad past," he said as he was not an honest man back then. "I prefer not to talk about my past to people. The last...Nevermind. It's too complicated to talk about."

So long as theyre slaying heretics, traitors and xenos, not us, I dont have a problem with that. It is most opportune that Lord Greystorm is involved in sector operations, the spacewolves can trade melee with more brutish factions efficiently. Tyranids and orks are little match.

"Yes, thats true." Maomao said. "I can photosyntetise with every green of my body."

"Greystorm...Such a great warrior," he muttered softly as he stood there watching people in the tavern. "Anyone need refreshments?" he asked as he sat down for a moment or two.
