HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO US! I'm so excited to welcome you to this week of celebration for the 12th anniversary of the RPR opening its doors. And of course, as part of our celebration, we'll be going on an adventure together! Where to this year?
Panel 1:
A birthday party with pink-hair Kim, Server, Elven Scientist, and some other characters. The cake is on a table with gifts & snacks & such. Everyone looks super happy.
Beaver foreperson: Construction just finished. The tunnels discovered after Mount Ovation’s seismic activities have been re-enforced, and it is now safe to explore them.
Panel 2:
We see a slightly greyed out view of the tunnels, with a skeleton lurking in the shadows
Text box, presumably still Beaver speaking: Well... relatively safe. These mines have been abandoned for who knows how long... The only things left down there are none too friendly.
Panel 3:
Back at the party. Elven Scientist excitedly speaks with Kim.
Elven scientist:It may be worth the risk. The advance teams have reported encountering crystal growths, similar to the ones we saw in our 2019 birthday adventure.
Kim: The ones that gave us temporary super powers? This is a perfect birthday adventure!
Panel 4:
Elven scientist looks thoughtful: Yes. These may even be the origin of the crystals we found in that labyrinthine pocket dimension.
Panel 5
Kim is excitedly speaking with Server.
Kim: This could lead to untold scientific and medical advancements! Let’s call everyone for help exploring deeper!
Panel 6:
Server concentrates as he puts out the call...

I was planning to have some stuff done beforehand in celebration, but this last year's been a little bit of a rollercoaster and I hardly got started. I'm still psyched for Epic Week 2022 though!
