From the Greek word meaning "glory," a kudos is acclaim for exceptional achievement or qualities.
On the RP repository, receiving a kudos means that another community member recommends you as someone other people might like to get to know. Perhaps because you are exceptionally fun to RP with, exceptionally fun to know, or are just plain exceptional!

While I haven't known them long, their talent is apparent. They are smart and clearly dedicated to their work. And they are so open and friendly! I've known SD for way too long, but she's still a shining light. We haven't played together in a long time, but she's always there to bring the plot forward and isn't afraid of any post size or character. I've thoroughly enjoyed writing with StrangeDisease and am always impressed by her wonderful way of crafting and forwarding the story, including wonderful details about her character and the world around them. The third or fouth kudos that I've given her so far, but that's how great she is. She dishes out characters to calm the raging addiction that I have with writing, and my insane characters! Her plots are of my favorite and her characters make me blush! If it weren't for her, I wouldn't have improved the many ways writing styles and would have never discovered some of the characters that I have! It's all thanks to her!
