From the Greek word meaning "glory," a kudos is acclaim for exceptional achievement or qualities.
On the RP repository, receiving a kudos means that another community member recommends you as someone other people might like to get to know. Perhaps because you are exceptionally fun to RP with, exceptionally fun to know, or are just plain exceptional!

It's been an absolute pleasure getting to know Ypres as I have over the past year or so, even though we've been in the same community for some odd years now, something that I regret now that I know what an awesome and caring person he is. Not only that, but he's a whizz at all things software and definitely my go-to when I run into a bit of computer problems.
The amount of love and effort you've put into the TGT is obvious, and we're all very lucky to have you here. Thank you.

I've only had the pleasure of RPing with a couple of his characters but each experience has always been a blast. And his characters seem to have these hidden depths that just leave you wanting to explore. Always engaging and kind, I hope to be able to roleplay more with him in the future. I use to be so intimidated by Ypres due to his writing talent (not to mention his character, Biers), but I am so glad that, over the years, I've come to know him better. He is one of the kindest, most understanding people I've come across on Furc, and such a talented one, at that! All of his characters have such depth to them and he plays them with such consistency that you can't help but fall in love with them! I can't wait for all of the future roleplays I'll share with him! The Tether's resident alcoholic. And I guess Handler as well. Biers paints an image of a stubborn, hard-headed man who takes very little nonsense, and someone who seems to have lived a hard, troubled life. But you'll never scrape further than the surface as Biers' character is a mystery unto himself, and plays his cards close to his chest. While I haven't had many interactions with him it's always a pleasure to see him working his magic.

I've known Ypres for a while now and I'm so glad that I do. He's one of the friendliest people on Furcadia that I know and it's always a pleasure to talk with him, let alone to rp with him. Sadly I've only gotten to roleplay with Biers out of all of his characters, but I'm not sad at all that I've made a connection with such an amazing character. I've known Ypres for a good year or so solidly. And in that year, Biers has been not only, energetic and seeking roleplayer. But also a wonderful addition to the Tether Staff Team. I love this guy, I loved Biers and Acaeus' interactions, and I now look forward to the many more years of roleplaying with Biers with my new characters in the Tether land. Here's to writing with you

Though I haven't had much opportunity to speak with Ypres at length I feel like I've gotten to know him better over the past year, and even in the past couple of months, than I've known him since his time joining TGT. He's a surprisingly level-headed guy who's thoughts and words I've come to respect in regards to his tenure as OOC Staff with us that allows strange and sometimes torturous things to happen to his characters that most other players would shy away from. -

I do believe I've given Biers' player Kudos, but not the character himself. I've had the pleasure to RP with this fellow from the start and it's been such an amazing adventure to watch him play through his challenges and grow with each and every new experience. Ahhh this guy. I haven't had the pleasure of extensive rps with them, but we have certainly chitchatted outside of rp. His characters are honestly great, very in depth and ripe with creativity. This man right here. He puts up with my dumb jokes and culturally offensive puns. He is honest, TRUSTWORTHY, and just an all around awesome person. We have never roleplayed together yet, but it's definitely on my bucket list. ONE DAY. Also, he mailed me candy. You can't get much more amazing than that.

Although we have only managed to roleplay the once I must say this man is a genius! Witty, genuinely friendly, and full of madness, i'd highly advise approaching his character if you ever get the chance. Massive kudos to you buddy.

I was given the honor in roleplaying with this wonderful man and I have to say, he is amazing. Very laid back and more than happy to work with someone that is a little slow to start. The detail in every post that leaves people begging for more, to get just one more hour in.
I have always been afraid to say hello due to the amount of work placed in Biers alone but I am glad I finally did.

Wow, I've just now noticed I have never given this man kudos. The writing is brilliant, the character has depth like you didn't expect, and the player is amazingly sweet, patient, and caring. I love roleplaying with him, and how he is involved and tries his best to accommodate everyone in a roleplay and still supports your story as well. There is talent to be found in this one! From entertaining Rp to costume templates found here on RPR. Not only do I enjoy Rping with Ypres but it's something else to watch them engage with others as well. Creative and fluid even for a man who 'claims' that his first language isn't English. Certainly could have fooled me!
