The Teeming Swamp itself is cleared, and the path to it mostly is as well.

The ruins closest to base had been cleared out at one point, but since they creep back in over time, it's hard to say if that's still the case.
I'm on my way there again right now, skirting the sides a couple hexes over from my original path.
