I think it originally appeared back with the spider forest when everything was sick or dead?

I think that was the first year we had status effects at all. Blight was originally only curable by medicinal plant, it would NOT go away on its own through time.

Being cursed with blight prevented plants from growing, and prevents people from thriving and naturally healing themselves.

Since then a variety of other monsters have been able to cause the condition, and it always just means you don't recover HP every 5 minutes until the condition is gone. The following year after it first appeared it was amended to go away after 4-6 hours of waiting, if you couldn't find something to cure it.

Is it a catch-all for non-poison, non-bleeding adverse conditions, or do you have a specific feel in mind for it? Infection like, or more of a curse, for example?
