Hello to everyone!

I would like with this post simply honor our moderation team and our admin! 🥳

Lately there's been a lot going on, the breakdown through search crawlers and the rise of AI launching the most inventive bots and fake characters into our forums. Inventive as we can have even weed treats through Facebook 🤬

I think they rather feel like this :

I believe they do, just deleted one bot, comes the same back, two, three, four times. It's like shooting game on epic weeks, blasting out one 'boss' to get three others instead... *sigh*... never-ending battle, fight against windmills

So please cheer up our mods and admin, either through this innocent thread and post congrats, and thanksand courage or whatever nice you want to throw at them, or send them tons of kudos.

We all think about you, not only on 'moderation' day. 🤩

Kim and the crew have been doing overtime these last weeks it seems. I’ve been part of countless websites over the last 25+ years, and modded a few and administrated a couple, and it wasn’t a picnic back in the day. It has to be crazy insane these days with all the AI auto-generated stormtroopers.

I do have to say again that Kim is the most actively engaged administrator of a website I’ve ever known. And the mods are fair and quick to stomp on the infiltrating botbugs. Not only do they have to deal with all the invading crawlers and Al, but has to deal with us as well when we get weird. I’ll shut up now and lift my beer to Kim and the mods!

I will fight someone over Kim and Claine. Straight up run them hands for Claine, and I will not duck a fade for Kim.

They're all pretty great.
Very helpful to me over the years and patient with my love of the f word. 😆

The mods are great people. They welcomed me in when I was new, and now that I'm back, I'm going to continue supporting them.

Kim and the mods (current and former!) are indeed lovely, patient, and hardworking folks who deserve a great deal of love.
