I'm also one of the larger Pokemon enthusiasts around! I actually used to run a Pokemon RP Group back in the day, but it was more oriented around taking Pokemon to 'the next level' and exploring it with real world dynamics / more mature themes and considerations. Honestly, the same concept applies to this character and he needs at least a little bit of a more grounded setting if not necessarily a strict one.
I am totally desperate for some Pokemon roleplay, but I'm concerned that this character isn't particularly kid friendly nor focused on the capturing and battling angle. I'm actually really uncomfortable with use of statistics outside of actual games - very story and character focused. In concept overall he's meant to not only be a more 'mature' addition to the universe, but tear apart and try to make sense of the Pokemon lore. I have no idea what you're planning, but I'd love to know more / if he might still fit in!

I would be super interested as well. Pokemon was the first roleplay I ever tested the waters with, back on a forum called Ghost Tower. Those were the days! I've been a heavy addict since Yellow, and now I'm primarily a breeder of competitive Pokemon. So from stats to lore, I would definitely be interested.

You!! You make me want to polish up my pokémon character and toss her out there, again. xD I'm very much like you when it comes to a more mature style of RP'ing in the pokémon universe, and focusing more on story development and such rather than the aspect of leveling or abundant use of stats. I've always wanted to get into some pokémon RP, but it's all either been too strict, too stat-based or just not what I was looking for in one way or another.
I'd keep an eye on this group and poke around the rules of it when it appears. I hope it fits the type of group I've been looking for, because if it does I'm definitely joining. ; w ;
