His eyes went wide as saucers, tears welling up. He... he was going to have a family? Really?
"It's not like we got lives of our own right girls?"
"We really just wander and explore. We're basically on the run," Jamie explained.
The mermaid just gave a little nod, not saying a word. He still didn't quite believe this was happening...
"You want a hug buddy."
Surprised by the question, he just gave a little nod after a long moment.
Alex opened his arms for Alt and swam over to him, encapsulating him.
Atl didn't quite respond to the hug for a moment, before finally burying his face in Alex's shoulder, shaking slightly.

He gave a shaky nod. "N...never thought have family..."

He gave a little nod, and looked to all of them. "Could all stay... Live in cave?"
"If I can breath water in this form sure."
"Can breath as mermaid though... Right? After make rings, could stay!"
