Lila is thrown off guard by ekon suddenly sprinting out of the building, but she's able to catch up and match his pace until they get out of the building. When he hands her the shotgun, she examines it to make sure it's in working order. She also took the opportunity to kill 2 birds with one stone: make sure the gun works and show to him how good of a shot she was. Without breaking eye contact with ekon, she aims the shotgun at a zombie approaching them from the right and shoots, landing a shot in it's eye socket.

"If its a question of my capability, then I think that should be enough to show you what I can do when I'm properly equipped."

Ekon smiles at her.
"Great. Now, keep up. The helicopter should be here for us any moment now." He said, while turning to run, yet still managing to kill a few zombies on the way.

".....Helicopter??"

She says while trying to keep up with him. She shoots zombies and runs, making sure she wasn't wasting any ammunition as the fought long enough for the helicopter arrive.

"Aren't you worried the noise will attract more of them and lead them to your camp?"

Ekon looked at the girl.
"It's not a big one, but yeah, it makes noise. The thing is, it's camouflaged in the clouds, making the sound as silent as the wind." He said.

Lila just stared at him confused, before looking back up at the clouds. It could be right over them if it was camoflauged. When she looks at ekon, she sees the zombie approaching him from behind. She aims her gun at him and moves it so it's aiming over his shoulder before firing, killing the zombie behind him.

"Careful now."

(Sorry for coming in late, I had to go shopping w/ my sister.)

Ekon watched as the girl killed the zombie with ease, telling him to be careful.
"Yeah. Let's go." He says.
Before starting to run, Ekon gets a call once again on his phone, and puts it on speaker.
"Yo. Boss man." He said.
"What's up?"
"Soo here's the thing. We're right on top of you guys, buuut someone forgot the ladder."
"It was you, wasn't it Noe?" He askes the boy.
"Hey! We're not pointing fingers around here! Let's just say "someone" forgot, kay boss?"
"Yeah, yeah. Well, what do you suppose we do now?"
"Climb roofs or some shit. You're capable of doing that. Ohh, you've got the girl with you. Hey miss, you can jump right?" He asked Lila.

Lila just face palms, hearing that they had forgotten the ladder. There was a horde on top of them, and they forgot something crucial to their escape. She looks around, trying to find another tall building, only squinting to see a building with a ladder that reached the roof. She smirked and nodded.

"Yes, I can jump.as well as spot that building."

She says pointing to it and starting to walk towards it. She hated the city and just wanted to get out while she could.

Crystie took a moment to scan the entrance area before sighing. She had already seen fifteen people this morning, more than half were infected. Glancing down, she noted a drop of blood caked on her shoe. “Filthy beings, we need to figure out a better way to dispose of them,” she muttered to herself, stooping over to wipe her shoe free with an alcohol swab. “We’re gonna need more of them alive if we’re ever going to make a true living out of this mess.” She continued to mutter to herself as a new batch of survivors entered. Glancing up, she got to her feet and swiftly pulled her mask back over her face. “You,” pointing to a small boy near the front “Third station, let’s go.” She pointed over to her workstation before grabbing some supplies behind her. A vial, a clean needle, and a few shells for her shogun, just in case.
She approached the boy and before he could speak jabbed a thermometer in his mouth. “Don’t talk until the procedure is over.” She then took his arm and skillfully inserted the needle and attached the vial at the end to obtain some blood. Momentarily the thermometer beeped at her. 99.3, low grade, it could mean nothing... The boy’s eyes darted back and forth as she obtained the rest of her vital signs. Heart rate 110, BP 155/80. She finished collecting her blood and took a moment to stare at it as the vial slowly turned blue. Infected. Sighing, she placed the vial on the table before glancing up at a nearby survivor. He met her gaze and nodded. “You’re going to go with him. Next please!” The boy shot the fighter a look of terror as he was wrenched from his seat by his arm. “No, I’ve just a cold. It’s nothing, please NO!” His shouts followed him as he was escorted from the building. As she prepared for the next survivor a shot rang out that silenced the child’s screams. Just another day in paradise...

Ekon looked to where the girl pointed.
"Nice eyes you've got there." He said.
The boy in the speaker, or Noe, spoke as well.
"Ooh! Yeah, use that ladder! We'll meet'cha up there, boss-o. Good luck, guys!" He said, before hanging up.
Ekon sighed.
"Sorry, he's an intern. I should fire him, but then again, I'd have to go through interviews and paperwork and too much of my time is wasted." He said, waving his hand like he was swatting away a fly.
He looked at the two girls and then at the building.
"Race ya." He said, grinning. He then ran towards the building, catching both girls off guard.

"thanks.."

She says while continuing to walk. She glanced at him as he spoke about paperwork and interns and firing. She just blinked at him shocked.

"The world is in ruin, with the dead coming back to life and eating people, and your concerned about paperwork?!?!?!"

She exclaims, before just blinking as he challenged her to a race. She just stared at him, completely dumbfounded.

"Why do I feel like he's testing me...."

She says before taking off in a Sprint to catch up with him.

Akin notices the girl is catching up and smiles.
He makes his way to the stairs, before hesitating.
"An elevator!" He says, smiling.
He walks in, before keeping the door open for Lila.
"You coming?" He asks her.

Jean was still killing zombies as she was running up the stairs. "They just keep on coming," she said as she was running up the stairs faster. she grabbed a railing and started climbing to the top as fast as she could. "Ekon I'll meet you up there," she said as she started to climb faster. She was hoping her body wouldn't give out while climbing the railing.

Lila keeps up with him, watching him as he noticed the elevator. She sighs in relief, grateful that she didn't have to climb any more stairs as she steps inside the elevator. She stares at Jean blankly for a second, watching as she chose the stairs anyway.

"But....Why would you....Choose....*sigh* nevermind...."

Jean kept climbing to the top and a zombie grabbed her arm and she tried pulling away and the zombie fell from the railing and hung from her arm and Jean was slowly losing her grip and she continued to climb up slowly refusing to give up now.

Ekon watches as the girl makes her way inside. He hears Jean say she'll walk her way up and nods.
"Your loss, I suppose." He says.
He turns to Lila and speaks.
"What floor, miss?" He says, in a formal yet teasing manner.
"Kidding, top it is." He says, hitting the button. He notices it is the thirteenth button and smiles.
"How unlucky." He says, laughing to himself.
He stops when he notices how child like he is.
"Wow, for being a boss, I am so unprofessional." He says, snickering.

Jean reached the roof and kicked the zombie off her arm and she fell to her knee. She looked around and sweep kicked a zombie off the edge and she took a deep breath. "That felt good." She said as she waited for Ekon and Lila. She twirled her bat and knocked a zombie off the roof. "Home run."

Lila raises an eyebrow at him, before chuckling as he asked her what floor she wanted to go to. She just smiles at him and puts on a British accent

"Top floor, my good sir."

She says before growing quiet as the elevator ascended to the roof. Once there she steps out, seeing Jean take out a zombie.

"That's why you should have come with us."

Ekon smiles at the girl's sense of humor, and silently dances to the elevator music. The doors then crease open to show Jean already at the top, hitting a zombie off the roof as if it were a baseball field, and she had just scored a home run.
"Whoa. That was cool." He says, smiling.
"Alright, now where is that helicopter?" He says.

"you mean it's not here?!?!"

She says looking up at the sky, scanning the clouds for the elusive helicopter. After a moment of searching, she gets a bad feeling as she walks over to the edge and looks down, revealing a horde of zombies headed towards the building.

"Not good....They'll have us trapped on the roof if they don't hurry....Can't you radio them??"

Someone opened the door to the roof, he was mumbling to him self, " Shoot shoot shoot," he was slurring his words together. He had his back pressed against the door like he was holding it shut. He slid down the door and sat on the floor panicking. He had a bandanna covering his mouth, and he was looking at his leg that was cut. He dropped the spear he was holding and pressed his hands against his leg in attempt to stop the bleeding. He didn't notice the other people on the roof since he hasn't see a survivor in a long time.
