We did?
Sanne Moderator

Yeah, Crowling unlocked a clue for us earlier :) Kim had to fix an issue with the site to make that happen
What was the clue?

I have a feeling that the Puzzle# nodes, much like the greek/arabic-letter nodes, are not related to fandoms in any way. They seem more general knowledge/puzzle-like.
Dragonfire Moderator

Thinking about the Sarpedon mentioned in Puzzle8 - that might refer to a ship.
Sanne Moderator

Yeah, I have the suspicion that the answers to those reference to each other as well somehow.
Ilmarinen Moderator

Yeah. I'm starting to thinking it is coincidence that Sarpedon and Cypher are both characters in Warhammer 40k!
Ilmarinen Moderator

And the normal spelling is cipher, so i thought that was important. Buuut I think cypher is also valid??
Dragonfire Moderator

Yeah, I think that was a good guess with the relatedness! But the way the first clue is phrased makes me think it's referring to either an object or a title for a person. There are definitely ships named after the king Sarpedon.
Ilmarinen Moderator

Same!
Dragonfire Moderator

Cypher is definitely a valid spelling! Maybe British in origin? I've seen it before.

Worth noting: Darth_Angelus, resident brit, was heavily involved in the creation of the puzzles this year. Some britishisms may have occurred. ;)

I think we're looking for a three-word phrase that we need to translate, partially, into the 'language of honour' - Klingon, maybe? - and the language of those who speak in voices.
Dragonfire Moderator

Hah. British spelling is proper spelling! Mostly. They get tire and curb wrong.

<-Canadian.
