Each clue pointed to a different person or object. The answer to the seal was a location where all three people/things showed up, eventually.
Each clue pointed at something distinctly different from the books. All three of those things had something in common, buuuuut... it was the only riddle that followed that particular style of hint giving and took like four days with 40 riddlers pounding on it
